We were lucky to catch up with Jasmine Butler recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
I believe my parents Did do right. I appreciate having both parents in my life since birth. Although they were separated, they both instilled some great values and morals. I really have to thank my mom for pushing me to be authentic, strong minded, and a pure GO GETTER. I have her thank NOT ONLY for solely being my back bone in my business, but having such an impact on my schooling, my support during all my encounters with clinicals , testing dates and ect… my parents are the reason I have made it this far. I would not be who I am today without them.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hello, my name is Jasmine I am a BSN RN. I have spent most of my career of ten yrs bedside working direct with so many different patients. I adore and whole heartily love my career as a nurse. I spent my life span accelerating from CNA, LPN, RN, BSN . I Take pride In making my patients whole again . With the majority of the time working and going to school. I developed a liking to fashion for nursing . Creating the brand “Scrubbedin” as to which I feel we all are locked in / scrubbedin! With this brand I focus on two different aspects. I supply anyone In the medical field with fashionable, resourceful, professional accessories. From custom scrub jackets, Fanny packs and nursing caps. I promote a fashionable organization with healthcare workers. I also utilize scrubbed in for social events., such as medical field expos, popupshops for networking , and unity events to promote side by side care in the medical field. I think what sets me aside from anyone else my deuce and determination. I most proud of the growth in business. To actually be out in the field and seeing your brand being worn on strangers is my biggest flex. I’m very humble and blessed.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I think what helped me build a reputation within my field is my work ethics and my passion for what I do. In the healthcare field it’s pretty small when it comes to knowing your colleagues and fellow healthcare workers. I have remain dedicated to my profession and professional. I know that everyone I come in contact with I ensure that they know my Genuine heart for my career and also making a name for my brand. I believe that my reputation for my brand itself is good quality merchandise, fitting for exactly what I know we as healthcare workers need. And inexpensive.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
If I could go back, Yes I would pick the same. Profession and business. For my degree in nursing I wouldn’t change that for the world. It has allowed me to travel The world and Do what it is I love. I have gained Finiacial freedom as well being able to serve on the frontline during health care tough battle with COVID 19 . I started in the healthcare business side of thing in 2020 it was my calling to give the healthcare workers exactly what they need to work in the field with fashion and organization. I created Fanny packs ,Custom Jackets , custom caps and more. So yes I would choose the same profession.
