We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jasmine Burch a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Jasmine thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear how you think where to draw the line in terms of asking friends and family to support your business – what’s okay and what’s over the line?

It’s really a big no no for me because I know my inner circle isn’t my audience. A simple share is more than enough support from family and friends.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Royaltooriches is definitely the best thing that’s ever happened to me, it reincarnated everything I started and stood for and turned into my purpose. Royaltooriches isn’t just cosmetics, hair , fitness and food, it’s more like a road map to the woman that I am , it’s a lifestyle and I’m that woman who has multiple businesses and sources of income that I can always bounce back on.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

I created a savings account when I first started my business and I set a goal of what I knew I needed to save to get me started but I didn’t think to far ahead as to how I would replenish my savings if things didn’t look up. I’m proud of myself for not counting myself out when I initially walked into every investment blind and not knowing better. I feel like having a team that’ll stay down and help you through out your journey is very important because you learn a lot about yourself in every season your business goes through.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

I started off being an entrepreneur young and I had to learn early that not everybody is going to support you, because it’s you! I used to take everything to heart when I was younger in Highschool not knowing any better but I grew and I truly learned from every situation that was sent to destroy me.
