We were lucky to catch up with Jasen Ross recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jasen, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
No matter what I’ve wanted to do in life my mother has always been there to support me show me love (at times tough love) as well as build my confidence telling me if I work hard enough there’s no such thing as something I can’t accomplish just stay dedicated work hard, and you’ll win at the end of the day you control your destiny we all will face adversity in life but are you going to let it bring you down and stop you or are you going to fight through it and achieve your goals? If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be where I am today

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Well I’m 33 years old, and I have a condition called cerebral palsy that affects my motor skills and leg muscles and causes me to use a wheelchair, but I’ve always had a passion for staying fit to not only to be healthy but also be as independent as possible, and I always have gotten questions from family friends and strangers people who have the same physical limitations as myself about what exactly do I do to stay fit and keep in shape and one day out of curiosity I decided to do some research and I didn’t find many if any fitness programs that were specifically designed for people with physical limitations, so I decided to invest my time and money into starting my own fitness program not only for people with physical limitations like myself but for everybody anybody is welcome to participate so regardless if you want to start and just don’t know how, or you’ve just been out of the gym for a while or whatever the case may be I post detailed one on one videos that you can do from the comfort of your home start slow and work to wherever you want to be if you can move at least your upper body no more excuses if I can do it so can you!!
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Resilience Patience and dedication

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Yes I would because I truly love what I do, though I do have an extremely deep passion for writing.
