We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jarrod Stone. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jarrod below.
Jarrod, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
I started as kid drawing from comic books and animation. As I became older and perfected my craft, I decided to start my own LLC, ArtbyJarrod. It’s one thing to have an idea, but you have to follow through. I had the idea that I wanted to be a multidisciplinary Artist. This is someone who works with different mediums.
Within in the last year I’ve been a guest on Indy Now T.V., a vendor at an local art fair, and just hosted my first Solo Art Exhibition.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Jarrod M. Stone. I’m a Artist based in Brownsburg, Indiana. I was introduced to Art at a early age. I watched my Mom, and older Brothers create Art which inspired me to do the same. Over the years I’ve been able to improve and grow my craft. I offer a variety of different types of Art, but I work mainly with Acrylic paint. Other mediums where I am experienced include graphite, color pencil, and watercolor. I offer a variety of art styles including Realism, Pop art, Expressionism, Contemporary Abstract art,and illustration.
I’ve created all types of Art in different styles for individuals as commission pieces. Some of the events I’m most proud of is being a guest on Indy Now T. V., a vendor at an Art Fair, and my own solo Art Exhibit titled “Black Pioneers”.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I was able to build an audience based on my unique Art style. I also used hashtags and videos.
If you’re just starting out, I’d recommend following these steps.
1.Hold contests.
2. Include a visual with every post.
3. Share more video.
4. Be proactive in listening to and responding to your online community.
5. Change your Page profile photos and cover photos.
6. Give people a reason to follow you.
7. Encourage tagging.
8. Use hashtags to get found.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I Believe there’s a challenge in every person’s journey to the point where you just want to quit. I was there plenty of times. But I didn’t give up and kept pushing. I’m thankful I did, if I hadn’t I wouldn’t be here today.
