“Black Panther” was incredibly meaningful to me for several reasons. First off, it’s not just a superhero movie; it’s a celebration of Black excellence, culture, and history that you don’t see every day on the big screen. That representation is so powerful because it challenges the negative stereotypes that have been perpetuated for far too long.
When I worked on “Black Panther,” I felt a surge of pride. It inspired me to see the beauty in my own culture and to recognize the strength that comes from our diverse histories.
Working on this film allowed me to express those feelings and share that sense of possibility with others. It reminded me that storytelling is such a powerful tool for change. Through the lens of Wakanda, “Black Panther” opens up conversations about identity, resilience, and community. It encourages us to envision a future that’s not limited by the constraints of the past.
Ultimately, diving into the themes of “Black Panther” felt like a personal journey, one that’s both laid back and deeply meaningful. It’s about finding pride in who we are and what we can become. When interviewing we ask Jarrells assistant, Gina and Ally Cardenas, life partner, who also does some management for pyro and production on his films- will we see Jarrell pyro Johnson in black panther 3?? This is the question we all wish to know!
The answer is: we hope so! That’s the goal. Being a part of 1 & 2 it’s safe to say pyro will make his entrance into black panther 3 alongside Denzel Washington but we are waiting on confirmation from marvel representatives.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Watching the characters come to life. Bringing a vision and story to life says pyro Johnson.
