We were lucky to catch up with Jared Pittman recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jared thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Are you happier as a creative? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job? Can you talk to us about how you think through these emotions?
Being a creative is very fulfilling. When you sit down and establish an idea and work things through to see your idea in physical practice is amazing. But, the truth about being a creative is that you will have unmotivated moments, times of no creativity, burn out and lack of energy. When you experience these things it makes the idea to just be content working a regular job more practical.
But the times where your ideas and creativity come to life are the moments that makes all things worth it.

I am the owner of HomeFLD LLC, which is a podcast platform, motivational speaking engagements, mentoring and life coaching. God has blessed me with the purpose to inspire, motivate and uplift others! Through my platforms I provide people with perspectives from all different kinds of people! With these perspectives I hope that my followers, listeners and viewers find greater purpose within themselves!
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Originally I started podcasting with friends and it was titled Hood Philosophy! It was during the pandemic and quarantine specifically, after a while life got busy for us all and our time together wasn’t as frequent! That podcast environment became a place of therapy for me and I missed that space dearly! That was the fire that ignited what is today HomeFLD LLC / HomeFLD The Podcast!
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I always thought that the harder you work right now will get you to where you want to get to sooner and that’s not necessarily true! Along my entrepreneurial journey my relationship with God has become more in depth! What I understand more now than ever is that everything is on Gods timing. Working hard is all apart of the process to the final destination, but regardless of how hard your work what’s for you will be for you, when it’s supposed to happen for you! Working harder just makes it a lot harder to fall off once you arrive!
