Originally, my aspiration was to become a nurse practitioner and eventually open my own healthcare clinic and rehabilitation center for cosmetic surgery. However, I soon realized that God had a different plan for my life. During my first year of nursing school, I found myself at a crossroads—continue pursuing nursing or fully commit to my growing hair business. I chose the latter, which began as a side venture thanks to my best friend who walking me through and helped create JW Hair Imports as you know it today. Little did I know, this small endeavor would gain momentum and eventually lead me down an entirely new path.
As I approached my tenth year in business, I faced personal challenges that shook my confidence in my vision. It was during this time, while at church, that I felt an overwhelming urge to reach out to Olivia for guidance. To my surprise, she agreed to meet with me on the first day of the new year. Since then, Olivia has become an invaluable part of my life. Although I’ve always been somewhat intuitive, I never fully trusted or leaned into my intuition. Olivia has served as a bridge, helping me align my intuition with God’s purpose for my life. She is a true blessing, guiding me not only in my business journey but in navigating life as a whole. I hold her gift close to my heart and trust her guidance deeply. I owe so much to her and am profoundly grateful for the impact she has had on my life.
Please tell us more about your brand, JW Hair Imports
JW Hair Imports—what an incredible journey it has been! Thirteen years later, my brand has been featured in Vogue and numerous other prestigious publications. Today, I have the privilege of providing hair extensions for some of the industry’s leading celebrities, while also managing a thriving wholesale and retail business. It’s remarkable to reflect on how different my original vision for my life was. This business wasn’t born out of a carefully crafted plan, but rather from the simple demand of people asking where I purchased my own hair extensions and whether I could source them for them as well. Unlike most companies, which begin with the founder’s vision, my business started because people saw the quality of the extensions I wore and wanted the same for themselves.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by 3rd Born LLC and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with 3rd Born LLC.
To be honest, before meeting Sarah Olivia, I was completely opposed to tarot card readings. My resistance stemmed from ignorance and a lack of understanding—like many people, I viewed the unknown with skepticism, often influenced by the negative connotations others attached to it. But I am so grateful that I moved beyond those unfounded beliefs, which weren’t rooted in my own experiences.
One day, while in church, I felt an overwhelming urge to ask Olivia for a reading to start my new year. The impact she has had on my life has been nothing short of profound. Within minutes of speaking with her, I was brought to tears. She has an incredible ability to help me navigate my emotions, experiences, and feelings, guiding me toward what I need to do to find peace and clarity in my life. Whether it’s sorting through my own thoughts or defining my goals and direction, Olivia has consistently provided the clarity I need.
