We recently connected with Janette O’Neill and have shared our conversation below.
Janette, appreciate you joining us today. Covid has brought about so many changes – has your business model changed?
Covid completely changed our “world” and the world we worked in. We left our 9-5’s as we stepped into what our Soul came here to experience.
We were gIven the opportunity to dive deep into our family, even amongst very difficult challenges. We actually started our business during covid or shortly after. My husband and I took a deep look inward with no expectations and found ourselves with “gifts” of the spiritual world that completely opened up after we gave up alcohol, had a daily meditation practice and became vegetarians. After receiving a reiki session, my husband was the first to realize his gifts as an Ascension Healer (Psychic Medium) which came to a complete surprise to us!
Simultaneously, I had shifted my Birth Doula Business virtually because of Covid, and during this I became a Reiki Master at the same time as my husband and 14 year old daughter, incorporating energy healing into my birth practice and even that has evolved so much since then.
Our family bloomed. My husband and I started our healing/coaching practice ( Platinum Light Healing), while my daughter and I started a crystal shop at the same time together (Jupiter Meridian) where we used our gifts creating custom Meditation Mala beads for clients who were on their own spiritual journey. We also collaborated with businesses, Mindset Coaches from around the world, and healing centers to create custom branded “Energetic Armour” for them to share with their clients which birthed beautiful collaboration.
Last year we created our first 12 week program called Energetic Foundations, teaching people more about their energy, ancient history we’re not taught in school, and how this all expands our consciousness and effects our daily lives. We’ve helped hundreds of people now through various offerings, all in hopes to raise the collective consciousness and awaken the deep remembrance of our Souls. We’ve also shared the importance of ‘Energetic Amour” (the energetic way to protect your energy, and the tools a.k.a Mala Beads) and how it affects our daily lives because we are all energy. Energetic Armour *The Podcast was also created as a result to share our story.
Currently, I’m building out my business, following the breadcrumbs. and continuing to evolve myself personally while walking with women who are on their own spiritual path. I am now taking everything I’ve practiced throughout my life, still creating energetic armour (aka Meditation Mala beads) and following my Soul’s Calling. I empower women who have come from abusive, toxic relationships, deeply knowing they have gifts and holding space for them to be their own healer, leading them back to wholeness. This work is deeply fulfilling, showing them their innate wisdom within their womb space, using breathwork and cold plunge practice to regulate their nervous system, and breaking Karmic cycles along the way.
This work continues to expand and its thanks to that time the world shut down, in order for us to be awaken.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Pivoting in life, business and career is currently happening right now…
Just before Christmas my husband was offered to go back into the workforce, in one of his zones of genius, Audio. This is the last thing we expected, nor did we plan for it. But somehow, we’re pivoting. This means many things for our family unit. Usually, we had opposite “status quo” roles, so this has given us the ability to adapt. We have 4 children, and our youngest is 4 and still at home. Running and growing a business with kids at home is not easy. Personally, I’m still finding my footing, while still managing all of the things. In some ways I feel like I am starting a business over from the scratch because the focus has shifted from us both being full time at home and business.
I feel the Universe shifts realities in order to help you build a part of you that you can either embrace, or cave. I choose to embrace. I look at my Natal Chart, and my North Node is in Cancer. What does that mean exactly? Well funny enough, it means to be home, be the heart of the home, and I am a natural nurturer. Cancer is the loyal hermit crab, and I am far from a hermit or crab! I’m an extrovert who LOVES people! Yet my Soul came here to experience that.
So how can I take what my Soul came here for and mold all of this together? Well, stay tuned! My Soul came here to create these pieces people will wear (AKA Mala Beads/Energetic Armour) that will heal their hearts, and to work with the womb space to help the 5D babies coming through (whether physical or Spiritual) there is much healing that needs to take place in the women who have incarnated now on earth. All of the experience I’ve had in life has lead me to this moment and I truly believe this is the case for everyone. The path will light up before you if you choose to trust that.
So how do I take this interesting pivot that’s taking place and blend it to grow our/my business, well, it’s all unfolding NOW!
We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
I wouldn’t consider our business a “side-hustle”, yet at the time, there was no way we thought it would position us to financially be able to leave our 9-5’s. I believe when you are truly in your calling, miracles unfold. It all started for my husband when our massage therapist (also a Reiki Master) asked him if he’d do energy work on her. That session blew her away and that started the healing part of our business. Simultaneously, my daughter asked me to start a crystal shop, and I happily obliged because what better way to teach a grade 9 student about business than to run one ourselves.
Our first big break was making custom branded, reiki infused crystal bracelets. I had another reiki master tell me that he felt the energy I put into my work, yet at that time, it wasn’t even intentional. So when the reiki infused bracelets were born, they were potent!
Then the next milestone of our path was revealed. During a meditation, I had my first profound meditation where my third eye formed two hands, cluster of crystals and a Mala, and my deep knowing flooded me to tell me I have to start creating Mala beads. At the same time, my husband had my Mom’s spirit visit him in his meditation. Before I had the chance to tell him about mine, he revealed to me that my mother told him I should be making “rosarys”. I couldn’t believe it! The validation was incredible. I used to make roasarys with my mother so it seemed as though it came full circle with my daughter.
That’s when we started making custom Mala beads, meaning we would have Soul Sessions with people and create these pieces with them, instead of the typical model of having an inventory of Mala Beads and then the customer shopping from that perspective. So many people told me not to do it, but I had to.
Our next big break was collaborating with a 7-figure Mindset Coach who was my mentor. I approached her with the idea of creating a branded custom Mala for her high paying clients as a gift, and to help them with their Meditation practice. She said yes and since then, we’ve created hundreds of Malas for her as well as collaborating with another brand who has subscription boxes for young girls who are first starting their Moon cycle. These collaborations have such a special place in my heart, and it afforded us from being part-time, to full-time doing our Soul work!
This has lead myself personally, on a deep exploration of how I serve the world. My deep love for history and philosophy, motherhood at 22, leaving a toxic, abusive, relationship, co-parenting with a Narcissist, to finding the love of my life, having 2 more beautiful children, (4 in total) navigating some very high highs, and very low lows with a blended family, all while doing deeping healing work, all to turn into a beautiful family business and what it is today. Helping women empower themselves, heal, and break cycles to live life with rich relationships that flourish, creating abundant timelines, all while helping them heal with Breathwork, Cold Plunge, Meditation, Rituals, and Womb Energetics. It all starts from the inside, and the ripple effect will expand.
