Janae, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I started my business based on my passion for fitness and fashion. I’ve been in the gym going on 5 years. After a long battle with depression, I can say working out has helped my mental health for the better and I’m happy to be here. I have a goal of becoming a Personal Trainer! After becoming a new mom and readjusting to my new life. I’ve decided to get back on track with working out and thought why not jump into a new adventure and start my own brand. When I workout I love to wear matching sets, wearing them helps boost my confidence and ultimately makes me feel good. Fitwithnae is so much bigger than just activewear & I can’t wait for it to all come together.

Fitwithnae/FitbyJax was created by Me, Janae. It was inspired by my passion for fitness and fashion. I wanted to create active wear that make others feel comfortable and confident while working out or just leisure wear. My goal is to provide comfortable and great quality active wear to help others feel confident to achieve their fitness goals. Are you ready to get FitWithNae and Jax?
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
I started my business with my own personal savings. At first I was nervous to take that leap, but I did it with faith and it turned out to be the best decision ever made.
Do you sell on your site, or do you use a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc?
I sell my activewear on Shopify. I created my own website and domain via Shopify. I love the user friendliness everything Shopify has to offer.
