Jamir, appreciate you joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I knew at a very young age as that I wanted to pursue a career in fashion and entertainment. I began cutting out images from Vogue, Word Up, Right on and Vibe Magazines, of celebrities and what they wore. I created my own magazine to look at as a kid, on what luxury looked like and how I aspired to create my own style image.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I have always been a person who commands a room so I created my own platform which consists of The JamirSmithShow Podcast, The Book Club, and ES- Elevated Selection (events/experiences which I have curated for people to visit.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is to connect with other creatives and give them an additional platform to tell their stories.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

Early on in my career I wish I would have build stronger relationships in the fashion industry and traveled more to other countries and learn about lifestyles.
