We caught up with the brilliant and insightful James Osborn a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
James, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What was the most important lesson/experience you had in a job that has helped you as a business owner?
Two core principles: my name is my reputation and I will treat everyone like I would want to be treated myself.
In life and in business, this is paramount!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I have an eclectic background of both marketing, retail, and outside sales that led me to create No One Likes Alabama.
This brand was created in 2015 to have a little fun with LSU’s greatest rival in football….Alabama.
I LOVE seeing people have fun wearing our t-shirts, hats, and/or flying our flags!
We have a growing collection of tees, hats, tailgate flags, and other items being created as we speak. Everything you need to cheer LSU to VICTORY throughout the 2024 season, especially against Alabama.
Our unisex t-shirts are printed on Comfort Colors or Bella-Canvas. All t-shirts come pre-shrunk and are super soft and comfortable. Made from the highest quality fabrics, they are durable and will last you season after season! These tees are perfect for your next tailgate or for showing your team spirit anywhere you go!
Our greatest compliment is seeing LSU fans everywhere smiling and having friendly banter with those “Bama” people – the whole time having fun with our Louisiana roots.
Thanks for visiting and Geaux Tigers!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I have personally lost several homes (and everything else within) due to hurricanes here in the South. It’s a humbling experience to go through, so I am very tenacious – I never give up!

Can you open up about a time when you had a really close call with the business?
I saved a family retail business multiple times – fire that destroyed all inventory, not being able to pay vendors, bills, or payroll.
People forget that the owners of a business get paid last to take care of others who are part of the team.
I was never really thanked for helping that business stay afloat – that was very demoralizing, so I decided to leave that business and I never looked back.

- Other: I’m actually seeking someone who can assist with some web design skills, app proficiency, etc. at a reasonable cost.
My venture is nothing compared to others, but I love what I’ve created and would like to see it grow.
