We were lucky to catch up with James Marsh recently and have shared our conversation below.
James, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Southside Kustumz came about during the whole Covid pandemic I figured hey this is the perfect time to use my skills to bring in extra cash since we’re on lockdown everyone’s on the internet buying browsing ect . So I knew this would be a hit especially with all the sneaker heads around the world one thing I’ve always stood by It does not matter how many people are doing the same thing it’s how you present and put your product out with all the designers out my clients could have gone to anyone but they came to me and I’m very appreciative for that my biggest selling point is word of mouth you do a good service people will talk and I learned you have to give free product to get it out there so you have a walking billboard to bring in even more customers

James, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a Dallas native grew up in the Dallas suburb pleasant grove I’ve always had the eye for art and designing is the reason why I chose to start Southside kustumz. Southside kustumz specializes in custom sneakers and t shirts ect . I think what sets me apart from other designers is when I talk to a client their visions and ideas are my number one priority I tell all my clients I never make the same sneaker twice make this shoe your own make people ask you hey where did you get those from vs just making t he same designs over and over and I think that goes a long way when your providing a service

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
My strategy to growing my business is easy do right by your customers and they will advertise for you without trying social media is also a plus it gets you the clients from other states to even more bring the question who did this sneakers
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Most of my clients are people I see or talk to over social media all the time so when they get the next idea the come to me to produce the product .
