We were lucky to catch up with Jameel Reid recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Jameel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Folks often look at a successful business and imagine it was an overnight success, but from what we’ve seen this is often far from the truth. We’d love to hear your scaling up story – walk us through how you grew over time – what were some of the big things you had to do to grow and what was that scaling up journey like?

I’ve been a content creator since i was 12 funny enough. So I’ve had years of experience of growing my social media. I would post all kings if different videos when i was younger those would do well. But they didn’t start doing better until I started to target specific audiences. Then i would start to get 100s of thousands of views once I fully understood how i could go about blowing up.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Jameel i go by reidgocrazy i came into this industry when i was 12 been posting content ever since, you could say im a veteran in this game. I started by posting YouTube videos which resulted in me getting over 43,000 subscribers and 10 million views. I started to even branch out and learned how to make beats. They were quite bad when I first started but as I watched YouTube tutorials snd practiced what I learned I eventually over the years got better and to this current day im still learning new things.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I built my audience through sheer determination and dedication of wanting to reach more people I’ve been learning how to do this since 12 and since then has made me go viral multiple times even once went viral around the whole world. If you’re just starting I recommend finding your audience that you want to target your content too and just go at it.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Id say the best source for me has been instagram. Ive been working the algorithm for about a year or so now and have just been mostly doing great numbers after learning how to do so
