Jamaal , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you recount a story of an unexpected problem you’ve faced along the way?

Some of the most unexpected problems faced while running My business is Trademark Infringement claims against defendant and have the funds and resources to enforce your intellectual property on risk the chances of losing everything you worked so hard for. Furthermore to have the will to continue to market and create new ideas for your brand while you have to protect it from infringer’s of billionaire companies

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?

My name is Jamaal Russ I grew up in the urban area Brownsville section of Brooklyn I started out modeling for a designer afterwards i began helping another fashion brand market and promote i then started creating my own street wear custom apparel before landing a situation with a manufacturing company i strive for pure original looks and promote originality to my followers/ clients I’m proud of the fact i’ve never given up even when things are hard big corporations infringing upon my intellectual property only motivates me more to keep going because i remember how i started and where i came from i want my follows and fans to know i strive hard to keep the brand true and original as possible and to never give up on your craft fashion is just a craft i enjoy doing but business and ownership of intellectual property is what i love to do most

Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?

Yes we manufacturer our products actually an overseas manufacturing company reached out to us displaying interest in working with our brand. Furthermore Manufacturing is not quite easy you must create sample pieces first before you actually get the right product that you think would be a good fit for the marketplace you don’t want to end up spending a lot of money on a bunch of pieces that don’t sell

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

We never had a start up of capital to start the business with, the business actually funded itself as we went along with working a 9 to 5 I would some times do home improvement repairs for people and use the money for my company Denaro Puro LLC until orders started to come in and things began to pay for itself.
