I’m Jalisza, a dedicated entrepreneur with a passion for helping people create better lives through my businesses: GM Capital Autos (sales and repair) & GM Capital Services where we provide a range of consulting services from credit coaching to real estate!

My journey into these industries has been fueled by a desire to solve everyday challenges for my clients and to build meaningful connections in the communities I serve.

What sets me apart is my relentless work ethic, my genuine care for my clients, and my ability to deliver solutions that meet their unique needs. I believe in listening first, understanding what matters most to my clients, and going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.

How’d you meet your business partner?

The story of how I met my business partner is one that perfectly blends love, ambition, and teamwork. I was working at a dealership when we first connected, which is also how I got my start in sales. Being the only woman on the team as a new salesperson, I quickly made a name for myself through hard work and determination. It was a fast-paced, competitive environment, but I thrived, proving that I could hold my own in a male-dominated industry.

My fiancé—who is now my business partner—was already an auto broker with his own dealership and several businesses when we crossed paths. He started sending me deals, sometimes without even saying a word, simply putting money in my pockets because he saw potential in me. He was fascinated by the fact that I was selling cars and working at a dealership, something he hadn’t seen many women doing at the time.

Eventually, we decided to go on our first date, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. From the beginning, our relationship has been built on mutual respect, shared goals, and a strong work ethic. Over time, we combined our talents, creating a partnership that works seamlessly in both business and life.

Today, we’re not just building businesses—we’re building a legacy together. Family is incredibly important to us, and everything we do is centered on creating opportunities and a strong foundation for the future. Working alongside someone who shares my vision and values has been a blessing, and it’s a reminder every day that when you combine love and purpose, amazing things can happen.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

My journey in business is a testament to the power of pivoting. Every service I offer—from GM Capital Autos & Services to my real estate expertise—has been born out of a need to adapt, evolve, and connect the dots between opportunities. Each step has been a natural progression, with one path leading to another in ways I couldn’t have fully planned but embraced wholeheartedly.

It all started with auto sales. Working in a dealership, I quickly learned that credit is the cornerstone of mobility and independence for most people. Seeing how many clients struggled to secure financing because of credit issues opened my eyes to the broader challenges people face—not just in purchasing vehicles but in achieving financial goals across the board. This realization motivated me to dive into credit repair, equipping clients with the tools to rebuild their financial health and take control of their futures.

That same principle applies to real estate. Whether it’s securing a home or a commercial property, credit plays a pivotal role. Many of my auto clients later came to me for real estate guidance, and having already built trust with them, I was able to pivot into helping them navigate this next step in their journey. Understanding how credit ties into both industries has allowed me to offer a seamless, full-circle approach to solving my clients’ challenges.

Even GM Capital Autos & Services itself was a pivot. I saw a demand for reliable, high-quality cosmetic repairs, especially for people who were just starting to rebuild their credit or buy their first cars. By offering these services, I could help them not only maintain their vehicles but also protect their investments.

What I’ve learned through every pivot is that life and business are all about staying open to opportunities and finding ways to connect the dots. Each service I offer stems from identifying a need and providing a solution. That’s what sets my businesses apart—everything is interconnected, rooted in my passion for helping people move forward, whether it’s restoring their credit, their car, or their confidence in achieving their goals.

Pivoting isn’t about starting over; it’s about building on what you’ve already learned. For me, every challenge has been an opportunity to grow, and every pivot has strengthened my ability to serve my clients in more meaningful ways.
