Jalen, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What was the most important lesson/experience you had in a job that has helped you in your professional career?

The most important lesson I have learned in a previous job is the power of relationships & providing value. Relationship building from a business standpoint can help you get new clients, keep clients coming back, and manage your reputation. Providing value is one of the key ingredients to having a successful business. I believe the more you help others the more you help yourself.

I’m a Digital Information Designer and the owner of a design agency called Nimbus Digital. The company partners with individuals and companies to grow their personal and professional brands through various forms of multimedia.

We bring together a dynamic team of designers, developers, marketers, and content creators to give our clients the edge in a competitive online environment. We encourage our clients to view us as an extension of their business. Our partner approach has built lasting business relationships, resulting in amazing results for our clients.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the ability to take a client’s vision or concept and bring it to life.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?

One resource that has helped me with my entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy is a media network called Earn Your Lesuire. The agency gives a behind-the-scenes financial view into the entertainment and sports industries and highlights the back stories of entrepreneurs.
