Alright, Jakob thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I was in 6th grade… It dawned on me that, one day, I’d need to “get a job.” But “no,” I thought, “I want to be a wizard.” And here we are today.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I am a musician, artist and educator who happily dwells in the dynamics of improvisation and experimentalism.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

The redemption of the human spirit.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

I get to keep my soul intact.
