Jake, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

I always grew up around music / documenting the scene in Indianapolis . In 2019, I was brought up to a committee that selected me to make a music series that is going 6 years strong with 3 regional Emmy wins over 10 nominations .

Jake, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Emmy award winning director , producer , and camera operator based out of Indianapolis, IN. I started Total Fun Productions in 2022 with nothing but a positive mindset . I want to keep my message clear and ensure everyone on set has a great time when working under my name .

I specialize in custom set build music videos but I am in the wrong region to do so. Instead of moving to a place where I’m a dime a dozen, I stay at my home base in Indianapolis and document what I do in hopes that labels or agents take a liking to my mindset and workflow.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

I want to take the energy I use for music and focus it on people who need the spotlight. There are thousands of stories to be told and I hope I can help out in one way or another .

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?

Please avoid AI for things post production . I see people losing jobs left to right , whether it be a copywriter or art department .
