Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jaimie Brick. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jaimie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Who is your hero and why? What lessons have you learned from them and how have they influenced your journey?
My mom is my hero—without question. She’s my compass in life, and people often tell me I’m just like her. I take that as the greatest compliment I could ever receive. She taught me to be independent, bold, ambitious, and to stand up for myself. Those lessons became the foundation of who I am and gave me the courage to build my own business.
I grew up watching her balance being a dedicated mother, a devoted daughter, and a supportive wife, all while working full time. Seeing the way she handled life with grit and grace lit the path for me. So when I faced the leap into entrepreneurship, I thought about her example, and her encouragement gave me the confidence to believe I could do hard things.
Her influence is everywhere in my work. Every time I take a risk, every time I advocate for myself, every time I choose growth over comfort, I hear her voice in my head. My journey as an entrepreneur is truly an extension of the values she instilled in me—and continues to teach me every day.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I founded Social Media by Jaimie, a boutique social media management company, in 2015. My path into this field wasn’t planned. After graduating from Brooklyn College in 2014 with a degree in television/radio and psychology, I thought I’d go into traditional media. But shortly after graduation, a family friend asked me to run her Instagram and Facebook accounts, and that simple “yes” became the start of a career I hadn’t even imagined. I fell in love with social media, dove into books and research, and slowly built a portfolio. A few years later, I had the confidence to turn that passion into a full-fledged business.
Now, nearly 11 years later, I work with a wide range of clients — from beauty professionals and medical experts to choirs, educators, and lifestyle brands. I offer services tailored to each client’s needs, whether that’s building and managing a social media presence from scratch, creating engaging content and copy, or providing strategic consulting and guidance. What ties all of my work together is the belief that growth should be authentic. I don’t rely on bots, fake accounts, or quick fixes. Instead, I focus on strategy, creativity, and connection, helping clients reach the right audiences in ways that feel true to their brand.
I take a personal, hands-on approach. I’m not a faceless agency churning out generic content; I’m a one-woman show who takes the time to deeply understand each client’s vision, audience, and goals. My clients trust me not just to post online, but to capture their voice, elevate their presence, and make social media feel less overwhelming. With over a decade of experience and a proven track record of helping more than 50 brands grow to a combined 250k+ followers, I’m proud of the results, but even more proud of the relationships I’ve built along the way.
At the heart of my approach is a belief that there’s no one-size-fits-all strategy for social media. I don’t follow hard-and-fast rules because I don’t believe in them and also because every brand is unique, and their authenticity needs to shine through. My goal is to help clients create a social media presence that they genuinely love, because if they’re proud of their page, their audience can feel it too.
Ultimately, what I want people to know is simple: I care deeply about helping others succeed. My work is about more than likes and followers, it’s about telling stories, building community, and giving entrepreneurs confidence that their products and services are being seen in their best light. That’s the mission behind Social Media by Jaimie, and it’s what drives me every day.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients has always been my current clients. I take a lot of pride in the work I do, and I like to think that shows in the results and the care I put into every project. People can tell when someone is authentic, hardworking, and genuinely invested in their success, and I’ve found that this reputation naturally leads to referrals and new opportunities.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with clients by being proactive, personal, and consistent. I make sure they feel supported and understood, whether it’s through regular check-ins, sharing ideas before they ask, or providing guidance when they hit a roadblock. I treat their brand as if it were my own, so they know I’m fully invested in their success. I think all of my clients would tell you that I’m just as committed to their brand as they are.
To foster brand loyalty, I focus on building trust and long-term relationships, not just delivering posts. I celebrate their wins, offer insights tailored to their goals, and make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. When clients feel seen and heard, they’re not only more likely to stay, but they also refer others. I’m proud to say I have many long-term clients, some of whom have been with me since I started my brand in 2015.
