We recently connected with Jaimie Bahl and have shared our conversation below.
Jaimie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
In 2016, I had to move out of my home due to a foreclosure, or what I’ve called “For-my-closure”. At this time, I had no interest in using my spiritual gifts for professional reasons. I wasn’t confident in my skills and was only interested in helping family and friends. Through many trials, I was able to move in with friends, a lovely married couple, who owned a wedding venue and was very active with networking of other business owners.
After a few months, I was introduced to a chiropractic friend of theirs, who was looking to expand her office space, including holistic healers. On a whim, we agreed we were both excited for this new opportunity. I was provided a space where I could set up my table to have clients and conduct Reiki sessions. Somehow, I was inspired to “step up my game” and put myself out there, professionally. As this collaboration was happening, the more I didn’t feel good in my gut. It took a while, but I caught on to the energy that was not good for me. This person ended up not being trustworthy and I wanted out but didn’t know how to communicate this.
While having coffee with a friend one day, she reminded me that that building she had been working in, had “office” spaces for rent. She gave me a tour and I fell in love. The building manager was able to answer my questions and next thing I knew; I signed a lease! It all happened so fast that I didn’t have time to worry. I was able to cut ties with the situation I had been involved with and just like that, the Universe provided for me. I was able to recognize that the risk was necessary to learn that I am gifted, I am confident, I am worthy, and I can do this on my own.
It was a whirlwind but so worth it. I had so much to learn. Purchasing insurance, client intake forms, advertising, notifying proper county and state officials, ordering business cards and obtaining my LLC status. Luckily, being a US Navy Veteran, I had wonderful resources of Veteran Organizations that helped me along.
Jaimie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I was first introduced to the metaphysical/spiritual world, when a friend gave me a referral to a professional psychic medium, Rachelle. I remember being so fascinated with her and the way she presented the information we talked about. She gave me messages from a past loved one and provided helpful reassurance for guiding me onto a path I didn’t know existed. I was blown away and thought “where has this world been my whole life?”
This same psychic medium had hosted monthly meet ups to discuss basic knowledge needed in an enlightenment journey. Topics that are necessary and not provided in an average setting. This inspired me to help others in the same way I was helped. I saw this as an opportunity to be a “teacher” of sorts. If I knew this and didn’t share it, what good was it to hold it for myself? I was on a mission to inspire others to know that they too are made of light and hopefully help them see and feel that spark within them.
In addition, another friend, gifted me with the knowledge and attunement to the Usui Reiki energy healing. From there, I achieved higher levels and other types of training. It truly transformed my life.

Creating a space of empowerment, inner growth, and strength in intuitive gifts.
What problems I solve for clients; We piece together areas in their life, like a puzzle, where healing is mostly needed. This is conducted through conversation, getting to know the client, and being given key words and situations from our spirit guides. As energetic beings (empaths), we tend to take on the energy of those around us or from the world. Sometimes, the worries, illness, or emotions we carry don’t always belong to us. I am able to give tools, exercise, and resources to help protect the energy field, learning the important of grounding into the present moment and spiritually shielding.
What sets me apart; My angelic presence and knowing that it’s not always “love and light”. The darkness (our fears, worries, sadness, regrets, etc.) is to be honored and touched with love. I am able to show the client where they have held themselves back from experiencing happiness and help them tap into their heart to trust their own intuition and understand their own inner power. Plus, I curse a lot so I’m very down to earth and fun to be around!
Main things I want potential clients to know;
Working with me, requires you to show up for yourself in big ways. My energy doesn’t play. I’ve had clients experience such profound healing that they do end up needing time to integrate the new way of being and not be scared of their magic. It’s not a bad or scary thing but it can be somewhat triggering. I approach each person with the utmost respect, nonjudgement, compassion, and unconditional love, while being fun and going with the flow. I keep it real and call it like it is. Your fear will resist you to change. Overcome that as your soul knows what is best.
Most proud of – I am most proud of all my accomplishments, despite any setbacks or hardships. I continue to be educated and learn new things so that I may help others in more expansive ways. I know that my big dreams are valid, even if I can’t see the way there. I believe in infinite possibilities and can’t wait to work for myself fully, sell my Aromatherapy products, and have a podcast.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I had been in my rental space for about a year, while attending school to be an aromatherapist and continuing my full time job. My grandma’s memory loss had taken a turn for the worst. She was living independtly, on her own, in an apartment complex. While visiting her one day, I realized how her safety was at risk. (Forgetting to turn off stove burners or sink faucet is just one example.) This required me to have medical assements completed for county assistance and approval to get her moved into an Assisted Living Facility. It was as if I had a child to now take care of. Coordinating many doctors appointments, meds to monitor, grocery shopping, handling her finances, and constant care.
I was so overwhelmed and I felt like my world was caving in. I couldn’t balance everything but I knew I had to help. I was able to pause my schooling and the sad decision to close my business, even on a temporary basis, was crushing. I couldn’t make myself feel obligated to have availablity for any clients and I couldn’t afford to pay rent for a space that I didn’t know when I’d be able to return. By chance, a few (good) circumstances moved me to another city and then the pandemic happened. I was still working full time, grandma was settled in a place that was taking care of her and the slow down was nice. I feel it was timing for me to advance in my spiritual gifts and to focus on new goals.
One of those goals was learning to navigate virtually, having “remote” clients and with the help of social media – it was a success! I am a firm believer that if we are planted in new ways, even if we can’t fathom that possiblity at the time.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Social media is what you make it. It can be negative and drowning but it can also be a positive and life changing experience. Placing boundaries is crucial. Utilize cross referencing platforms that allow you to “share to” when you post into one. I’m not an expert but from my personal experience, most apps will let you know what those sharing options are.
Give yourself permission to set certain times for engagement. You’ll want to be interactive with your followers and connections because they are like minded and supportive, but this could cause you to burn out, quickly. It’s okay to take a few days to respond and it’s healthy to take breaks.
You could create a ‘drafts” folder, gathering content, images, information and post it at a later time. This will help balance the obligation of being glued to your electronics. Lastly, don’t focus on the “numbers” of likes, followers, comments, shares, etc.
