We recently connected with Jaimee Brown and have shared our conversation below.

Jaimee, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.

I learned from taking classes of how to walk the runway and pose not only for runway but for photos also with the slightest motion to give that photo it’s “it” photo

Jaimee, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I got into the industry back in 2018 when the father of my child introduced me to the camera. After that I fell in love with modeling and acting day by day. I took classes and even got coached by some of the same people I would watch on television as a child help me to improve my craft.

I’m proud that with my photos I’m able to bring myself out through the photos no matter what look I’m doing. Because, that’s one of the main things I promote is being yourself and not being put into societies standardized box.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

One story that illustrates my resilience is me having to drive from South Carolina to California with no more 30min-1hr stops to make it in time to LA fashion week for the model experience and I drove by myself. And even when I got there my phone started messing up the very next day so I had to go on Mapquest and kick it old school in order to make it to the fashion show on time. And by grace I did along with making it there safe and sound.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Me selling myself helped me market and build my fan base. For one I’m into BDSM which is Bondage Dominant Submissive and Masochism. Which involves one partner being controlled and the other being the controller and in some relationships you have a switch who is able to fluctuate between the two.
