Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jaime Moreno. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jaime, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
Throughout the years, I have aspired to create portraits in multidimensional facets. My work has revolved around ideas of future realms and I have strived to make work resilient enough to stand the test of time. If not for other, atleast for self.
Everything that I have taken part of has spoken truth to my situations in life and has been painted in a way that others from varied walks of life can resonate with as well.
I intend to create works that I can reflect upon in different windows of my life. I do not wish for a solidified meaning, but a fluid one that can transition through the wavs of time.
Jaime, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I began as a rapper. I found writing to be the most cathartic outlet for myself.
Through years of working, I found that few could paint the visual portraits I wanted so I sought after the power to be able to do so myself.
LIMITLESSCHICAGO began as a collective but I ultimately invested time and money into it with the intention of making it a full fledged movement.
My work has come from a genuine place of growth and aspiration for ataraxia.
I have developed and polished the skills to help businesses and artists alike in a multitude of manners.
Visual (video, digital design), audio, merchandise development, Event curation/execution, aesthetic / design development, website, social media curation, among a plethora of ways I am able to assist with.
I like to think that if I can help, I am also a strong believer that if I can find someone who can do it better, I am more than happy to point you in that direction.
I want everyone to reach the highest form of their potential and I wish to help in any way I can.
If you are in a crossroads, I encourage you to reach out to me and allow me to do everything in my power to assist you.
Let’s elevate the way people digest art and pave the way for a new renaissance of self expression.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice
I feel like in its current state, I have personally distanced myself from entering the market but there is a lot of potential there. We are in the midst of a new era and pushing against the new wavs will only leave you wiped out.
I am an observer at the moment but I am patiently awaiting the right moment to strike this realm.
The digital landscape is coming and we can fight it, or we can develop roots so that we are in a firm position when all change arrives.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
I was always afraid of public speaking and interaction. Through my early years in community college, I took speech and acting classes however. I learned that tackling that fear head on was not only necessary but substantially rewarding!
I was apparently really good at it when I practiced it consistently.
I consistently put myself in uncomfortable situations and even when things didn’t go as planned, I ultimately found a lesson in all of it.
Networking has become a very strong muscle that has landed me jobs, clients, and sales all the same. I encourage people who seek to succeed as individualistic entrepreneurs to become one with their fears. There is so much to learn.
NEVER STOP LEARNING.
