We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jaime Love. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jaime below.
Alright, Jaime thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?
Current Trends in the Commercial, TV, and Film Industries we are seeing at the moment are:
Rise of Streaming Content: Streaming platforms continue to dominate, with an increasing demand for original content.
Focus on Authenticity in Commercials: Brands are leaning into real stories and diverse representation in their campaigns. Consumers are resonating more with relatable narratives than polished, traditional advertising.
Short-Form Content Explosion: Platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels are influencing how commercials are shot and edited. Quick, attention-grabbing content is now a must.
Emphasis on Talent Branding: In commercials and beyond, personal branding for actors is becoming crucial. Brands and studios are increasingly looking for talent with strong social media presence or dedicated fan bases.
Union and Labor Dynamics: With ongoing negotiations and strikes, labor rights and fair compensation for writers, actors, and crew members remain at the forefront, shaping how projects move forward.

Jaime , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
With over 18 years of experience in the agent world, I have built a career grounded in unwavering dedication to my craft. My expertise lies in the commercial industry, where I’ve consistently delivered exceptional results for my clients and cultivated meaningful relationships with talent, casting directors, and production companies.
Early in my career, I co-owned an agency for seven years, building it from the ground up into a respected name recognized by casting directors across the industry. While that chapter was incredibly rewarding, I took a leap of faith three years ago to venture out on my own, and it has been the most fulfilling period of my career. During this time, I’ve curated a roster of extraordinary talent—a group of caring, passionate, and immensely gifted individuals who are an absolute joy to represent.
I pride myself on being detail-oriented, innovative, and results-driven, with a knack for pitching talent and understanding the needs of casting directors. My background in production gives me a sharp eye for what works, enabling me to bridge the gap between creativity and precision. Above all, I strive to exceed expectations and foster meaningful relationships, both with my talent and within the broader casting community.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to an incredible son, who inspires me every day as he follows his dreams. In my free time, you can find me at Pilates or on the pickleball court—my newest (and slightly obsessive) passion!
Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue shaping impactful projects, championing emerging talent, and pushing creative boundaries as the industry evolves.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I had never worked a 9-to-5 job for someone else after graduating from university. However, when I moved to LA and had my baby, I was offered a position as an agent. It was a big decision to pivot away from being my own boss, but I decided to take the leap—and I never looked back for 12 years.
While I loved the experience, I found myself missing my production days. This led me to step away from agenting and return to my creative roots, taking on a production role that allowed me to work alongside some of the top celebrities of the time.
Eventually, my calling brought me back to agenting, which is when I made the decision to open LS. Today, I can confidently say I love what I do and enjoy my work as an agent to the fullest.
How did you build your audience on social media?
My sister, Alexa, manages all the social media for LT. The account showcases our talent’s bookings and creates a supportive, caring environment where we can celebrate their achievements. Whenever we meet new talent, one of the first things they mention is how much they love our Instagram account and how it uplifts and promotes talent in a meaningful way. I believe it’s essential to maintain a strong presence where people can see the incredible talent we represent and where potential talent can easily discover us.
