We recently connected with Jaiden Brown and have shared our conversation below.

Jaiden, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?

I’ve always been the friend to take everyone’s pictures especially when I was in school. Also I was taking photography classes when I was in high school which opened me up to it at a base level. All of my skills now are all self taught and watching fellow creatives on social media. Definitely not having the same expensive equipment as other people in my field at the beginning was rough but I made it work with what I had.

Jaiden, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’ve always been in the industry since my school days, I am a freelance photographer I specialize in portrait and lifestyle photos. I also create and direct themed photoshoots for beginner to experienced models. Problems I solve for my clients are often executing visions or inspiration pictures they come in with. Also assisting with outfits and set suggestions to make there shoot as smooth as possible. I’m most proud of how far my business has come, I’ve had several businesses in the past and have dropped them within months and this is my longest standing and growing business that I plan to keep.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

I currently have 60 + brand ambassadors and I want to eventually have them able to make money and get paid like bigger corporations do. And be able to be booked as well.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

Finishing a project and the client or business party is just as happy as I am and wanting to work again.
