We were lucky to catch up with Jai Lee Galanti recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jai Lee, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about the best advice you’ve ever given to a client? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
“Your body isn’t betraying you. You’ve just simply ignored its whispers … and now it’s speaking up louder.”
That’s the most potent advice I give to my clients. Believing one’s body is betraying then is not only false, but also disempowering – leading to a downward spiral of helplessness. When we realize our body is actually trying to protect us and communicate in ways to get our attention from gentle to severe and extreme, depending on how attentive and responsive we are to it ‘messages’.
One woman I worked with was in her mid-50s, brilliant in her career, loved by her family, and highly respected in her community, She felt successful in most aspects of her life except for her physical fitness and wellbeing, She came in saying, “I feel like my body is falling apart. I didn’t do anything to injure myself, but everything hurts. It’s like my body is betraying me.”
In our intake, I gently offered a different perspective:
“What if your body isn’t betraying you? What if it’s finally drawing a boundary, a line in the sand, because you ignored its more gentle whispers for years?”
We uncovered that she was not experiencing random aches and pain. She wasn’t manifesting supposed ‘inevitable’ effects of aging either. It was her body crying out to be heard, as a long-overdue expression of unmet needs. Her hips weren’t just tight; they were bracing in response to unprocessed emotional trauma. Her shoulders weren’t weak; they were exhausted from bearing the weight of her burdening responsibilities without asking for help. Her nervous system after decades of patiently adapting and compensating for years of hustling, performing, and stressing now was saying ‘enough is enough’.
We worked together using a combination of modalities. AcuTonics sound healing (sound forks on the body acting as needleLESS acupuncture) was used to calm her nervous system, reduce inflammation, and relax muscular tension to then enable her to exercise. Rehabilitative Pilates was added to build atrophied muscles and balance the body, further reducing mobility pain. Lastly, I taught her how to incorporate a daily fascia release and lymphatic drainage practice at home on her own between studio sessions.
Week by week, her pain lessened. Her posture rigidity softened. She began sleeping better and moving with ease. She began to feel younger in her own skin – able to sit, stand, jump, squat, lunge, reach, and rotate like she used to a decade prior – in essence aging in reverse. Yet, the real breakthrough was her relationship rebuild with herself. In her words, she said, “I feel like I can trust my body again. I’m not at war with it anymore.”
That’s when I knew: the best results don’t come from merely treating symptoms (though required of course, to then get to the deeper results), but rather come from restoring communication between mind, body, and soul. The body is always speaking. Our job is to listen and respond early on, before it needs to shout to gain our undivided attention.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi, I’m Jai Lee Galanti, body strategist and founder of Organic Movement in Roswell, GA. I help modern health and fitness mavericks eradicate pain & immobility naturally – without drugs or surgery – by using low impact movement therapies and energetics.
My work is a unique fusion of Rehabilitative Pilates, fascia release, neuro biomechanics, sound healing (AcuTonics), and energetic coaching rooted in metaphysics, Chinese Medicine, and somatic wisdom. I blend modern movement science and ancient wisdom energetics into something I call “body architecture” which I see as multi-dimensional bioarchitecture. To me, a body is not a machine to fix but a masterpiece to honor and restore with intentional collaboration.
My clients go from “my body is betraying me” to “I feel strong and powerful in my body again” by learning to listen to their body and aligning with its innate wisdom.
I didn’t land in this work overnight. It was a slow unfolding. My intial career three decades ago was in commercial interior architecture, helping clients create beautiful, functional spaces. These days, I still design, but now I focus on internal structures instead of external ones.
Informed by my own healing journey, my interest shifted from being on how people experience life based on living and working in certain environments to how they are living IN their bodies, regardless of external influences. That passion led me into the world of movement, somatics, and sound healing. I started my private practice and over the years have continuously layered in tools that address issues beyond the physical body, such as the emotional and energetic patterns that often drive pain, tension, and disconnection. What I do now is truly whole-person care, working with the most sacred structure of all: the human body.
I don’t subscribe to the classic “no pain, no gain” mode, where pushing through pain is glorified. I believe the body is always speaking, and it’s our job to listen and respond appropriately. Avoiding pain isn’t the answer, and neither is ignoring and pushing through the pain. If we listen and align properly, we are able to achieve a “no pain, all gain” state.
Clients are restored to pain-free movement and vitality by addressing their physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and metaphysical layers that shape how we move and feel.
What makes my work different is that it bridges the functional and the mystical. I work with the nervous system and meridians as much as I do the muscles and joints. And I teach clients that aging doesn’t have to equate to physical decay and the body breaking down. We can regain lost ground and then remain strong, balanced, flexible, powerful, energetic and self-sovereign as we age with the right practices in place.
I’ve even helped clients who hobbled into my studio on walkers or canes, fearing they were weeks away from a wheelchair, to reclaim their strength, balance, coordination, and range of motion – returning to full functional mobility. I have helped clients with post-polio syndrome, scoliosis, neuropathy, spinal stenosis, arthritis, and various auto immune diagnosis who were told by allopathic modalities that there was nothing they could do to eliminate pain or improve their condition, which my work has reversed.
Whether you’re navigating unexplained pain, a devastating ‘diagnosis’ by a doctor, or simply want to move through life with more grace and ease as you age and witness your body changing, know this:
You are not broken. You are being called back to yourself.
Your body is innately wise – like a super computer, which knows how to heal itself.
You are the solution you seek – it’s all within. You just may want a little help to tap into it fully.
I’m here to help. I can guide you into learning how to listen to it and respond in potent ways.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
One of the most effective strategies I’ve used to grow my clientele is offering free introductory sessions. My work blends multiple modalities: functional movement, fascia release, energetic recalibration. For many people, that’s hard to grasp from a website or referral alone. I’ve found that when someone can experience even a small portion of what I do, they feel the difference immediately.
Offering a no-risk introduction gives potential clients a chance to connect with me, experience the method firsthand, and often identify results in real-time. It removes the pressure of committing upfront and builds trust organically. Especially early on, I found it far easier to invite people into a conversation or free experience rather than trying to “sell” a service they didn’t fully understand yet. The session sells itself. Once they feel the shift in their body, most people are ready to commit to their healing journey.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My reputation has been built almost entirely through word-of-mouth … and it’s been deeply rooted in my willingness to work with complex, misunderstood, or “difficult” cases that others were hesitant to take on.
I specialize in the types of clients who have tried everything – chiropractic, massage, PT, and even conventional Pilates – but still haven’t found relief. These are women who often feel like their bodies are betraying them. I’m proud to say that over 90% of my clientele comes through referrals from former or existing clients who experienced meaningful, lasting change in how they move and feel.
What’s helped me stand out is not just that I get results, but that I listen. I see beyond the symptom. I look at pain multidimensionally (physically, emotionally, energetically) and I treat the whole person, not just the diagnosis. That level of care is what keeps clients talking, referring, and returning.
