Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jai Kole . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jai , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Has your work ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized?
I do believe me as well as my craft can be misunderstood and often placed in a restricted box especially being a African American.
When doors open for you that others don’t expect it raises questions to others making them believe you think your better than them because you want better for yourself, it’s ok to be multi talented and smart if you have five gifts you should be exploring all five don’t hold back worrying about if you will have support or not..

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I grew up in Baltimore Md one of the most creative places to be from if you can make it there you can make it anywhere.
In elementary school I was apart of school plays not at my own will I can’t even remember how I got involved but I began liking being in front of crowds and being the center of attention (Leo) LOL
I watched tons of movies with my family and always was very interested in how these things were done in front of the camera it wouldn’t be until in my 20’s when I starting pursuing acting but I was already invested in my dream of being a Professional Wrestler I watched wrestling with my pops as a kid weekly , WWF , WCW & ECW and immediately seen the connection to action films but this was like theater to me the best way I described it was being a live superhero.
I enjoy making people feel those emotions when being on stage in front of them on camera or live it’s all a stage.
I’m most proud of being able to inspire others and allow people to see someone who looks like them going out and working for what they desire.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
For me I listen to Jim Rohn, Les brown , Eric Thomas and the Creator above YouTube is also a huge blessing, I would mediate listening to these motivational leaders, there was a time when I was moping floors and not that it’s a bad thing to do but I wanted out of that situation I wrote down my goals and took note from speaks and. Subconsciously I was about to make those moves but ultimately it depends on how bad you want it and most importantly keep a tight circle with like minded people.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Believe in them and create a system for them to succeed.
