Hi Jahnte, thanks for joining us today. Can you walk us through some of the key steps that allowed you move beyond an idea and actually launch?

have always been a gamer. For as long as I can remember, I’ve played games with my older cousins. Even as a child, they would hand me a controller without batteries, pretending I was playing alongside them just to keep me entertained. This passion for gaming persisted throughout my childhood, into my teenage years, and now into adulthood. It has always been my favorite pastime and a genuine way for me to express myself.In 2021, when the pandemic hit, I created a gaming video that surprisingly garnered around 200,000 views. I brushed it off and continued with my school and daily life. It wasn’t until July 2024, with the release of the latest college football game, that I considered creating gaming content seriously. I knew my personality was engaging and that I could make people laugh, but there’s often skepticism when you tell others you want to become a content creator. Taking a leap of faith, I produced a few videos, but they didn’t perform well. Only my close friends, girlfriend, and I appreciated them—until one day, during a deep pass in a game, I exclaimed, “BOMBVOYAGE!” That phrase caught on, and my popularity began to soar. Since that moment, I have posted a video every single weekday, and I haven’t looked back.

My name is Jahnt’e Williams, and I’m a hustler. That’s the most important thing I want people to know about me. My grind is unmatched, and I work tirelessly to achieve my goals. I’m from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where the primary aspirations for most kids are to become rappers or professional athletes—but I’m neither. I’m a video creator. My videos primarily focus on gaming, but what many people don’t realize is that I’m also a full-time law school student. That’s what I take the most pride in. If you ask any content creator, they will tell you that content creation is a full-time job. Similarly, any full-time law student will echo that sentiment. Essentially, I’m balancing two full-time jobs at the same time and finding success in both.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Consistency is key. I built my social media audience by committing to a regular posting schedule, even during periods when views were low. There were times when it felt discouraging to see minimal engagement on my content, but I understood that growth takes time. No matter what the view count looked like the day before, I made it a priority to post again the next day, fueled by hope and determination.I believe that showing up consistently not only demonstrates my dedication to my craft but also keeps my audience engaged and anticipating my next video. Each post, no matter how small the initial response, contributes to the overall journey of building my brand and connecting with my followers. I view each video as an opportunity to refine my skills, experiment with new ideas, and engage with my community. Over time, this unwavering commitment has helped me cultivate a loyal audience who appreciates my content and supports my growth.Ultimately, it’s this consistency that has transformed my passion into a thriving platform. Each day is a new chance to connect, entertain, and inspire, and I embrace that challenge wholeheartedly.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

One of the most rewarding aspects of being an artist and a creator is the opportunity to set a positive example for my younger brothers. I understand that they look up to me, and I take that responsibility seriously. In a world filled with distractions and negative influences, I strive to show them what dedication, hard work, and passion can achieve.As I navigate my journey in content creation, I want them to see the importance of pursuing your dreams, no matter how unconventional they may seem. By sharing my experiences, both the successes and the challenges. I aim to teach them resilience and the value of perseverance. When they witness me putting in the effort to create content, even when faced with obstacles, it reinforces the idea that hard work pays off. I want them to understand that being an artist is not just about talent; it’s also about commitment and continuous learning. I encourage them to explore their own interests, whether it’s in gaming, sports, or any other passion, and to approach their pursuits with the same determination. I hope to inspire them to embrace their individuality and express themselves authentically. By being true to myself and showcasing my journey, I want them to realize that they can carve their own paths and make a mark in whatever field they choose.Ultimately, knowing that I am setting a strong example for my younger brothers is incredibly fulfilling.
