We recently connected with Jahleel FaReaL and have shared our conversation below.
Jahleel, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
Every move you make in music is about taking risk and most important being confident in yourself.
I’ve had to take the risk of believing in my fan base and headlining my own shows. Lucky for me these turned out successful due to consistency, quality and confidence in my music and hustle.
Always take risk.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
“JahleelFaReaL is a cultural taste maker and creative artist/producer. His sound resonates far beyond this scope. From producing, creative directing and engineering his art its certain this is a young artist on the rise creating his own lane in hip hop/soul. “
I’ve always had a love for music but genuinely my path didn’t begin until I started producing music in 2010. I toured the nation for several months with Webbie, Travis Porter & Pretty Ricky as a producer. Moved to South Korea for 2 years after the tour and focused solely on artist development. Once I got back to the states I never looked back. My fan base grew and I began throwing and booking shows to cater them.
Over time music has changed and also the way people consume it. Being able to stay on the pulse of the culture is something that I’m most proud of and hope to continue to deliver to my listeners.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I was able to build my audience over the years through not only street promotion and physical interaction but also heavily through social media engagement. The trick to continue to build this growth is to always stay consistent, give quality and stay engaged!
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
My entire musical journey has been resilient. Nothing has been given to me and most of the time you have to work against doubt. In order to prove there is something special about yourself and worth following you must stay resilient.
