Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jade Wyatt. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Jade thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
To be successful means to have internal peace regardless of what you’re current circumstances are. Now a days, we live in a world full of individuals seeking different means of fulfillment, whether it is intentional or not. From personal experience, trial and error, moments of isolation and many, many, life defining moments, I have reached the conclusion that success is a combination of self acceptance, eternal gratitude, and love. In addition, to be successful, I have also learned that success is not solely of monetary value, but overall wealth and surplus of emotional, physical, and spiritual presence – so that others may receive your overflow. To be successful and obtain all of the aforementioned qualities of life, one must be able to relentlessly deny themselves of their most natural tendencies and behaviors and ultimately transforming into an entirely different version of themselves for the survival of those around you, as well as yourself.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Jade Wyatt, founder and business owner of Works By Wyatt LLC. From personal experience in strength training and organized sports, I began working with clients 6 years ago in college, which jumpstarted my current career as a Performance Coach. Ultimately, my overall mission is to be the catalyst for individuals that are ready to improve their overall quality of life through new intentions, habits, and most importantly a renewed mentality towards health and wellness. I offer in-person as well as virtual personal training, nutritional coaching, personalized exercise routines, and habit coaching. As a coach, I have had many “multi-million dollar” moments with my clients. Witnessing physical fitness improvements, habits, and reshaped minds brings overwhelming feelings of gratitude when helping a client achieve a new goal. Unlike a lot of current day fitness coaches and businesses, I prioritize my client as a whole which consists of transparent support to the clients mind, body, and spirit. Now a days, there is a lot of pseudoscience about overall health that discourages, confuses, and distracts those seeking for permanent change in their overall well-being; my goals is to combat as much misinformation as possible, and ultimately helping those around me to become more comfortable, confident, and most importantly informed on what it means to be healthy.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Two major factors that helped build my reputation within my market is authenticity and love. I truly believe that without love, you will have an extremely difficult time connecting with your clients and genuinely committing to their journeys. Throughout the years I have noticed that by catering towards each and every clients personal needs and listening to them without judgment and loving kindness and compassion, not only do you give the individual hope, but also a sense of connection and community.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Recently, I completed a 20-week bodybuilding prep for my first competition. This was an exceptionally memorable experience that I will take with me for the remainder of my life and future goals within bodybuilding. During the process, through the ups and downs, I truly learned what eternal gratitude was and most importantly how to take things one day at a time. The serendipity that I experienced during this prep was unreal and I sincerely would not have changed anything about the prep.
One major take away from my first bodybuilding prep is that you truly have to embrace the journey, the good, bad, and in-between.
Overall, the life lessons that I received during this prep, I am able to practice within my everyday life and most importantly, share my experience and wisdom with those seeking support and guidance. Lastly, as I have also learned, it takes a village to accomplish new goals. Throughout this journey, I couldn’t have made it through without my support system!
