Jade, appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’ve always been driven by my passion for using my skills to solve real-world problems, and when I learned about the devastating impact of waste and overproduction, I knew I had to take action. It was shocking to see how these practices were polluting our air, water, and soil, and harming both people and the environment. That’s when I decided to start a company that raises awareness and provides practical solutions for these pressing issues, empowering people to make a positive impact through their everyday purchases. What sets us apart from other sustainable products companies is our unwavering commitment to combining modern design with ethical and sustainable practices. We believe that everyone deserves to have access to beautiful, well-designed products that align with their values. Our modern and design-forward approach to sustainability allows our customers to feel good about their purchases without having to sacrifice style or quality.

My name is Jade Di Marco and I’m the founder of Flightling Collective, a sustainable lifestyle company that’s dedicated to creating practical solutions for waste and overproduction. At Flightling Collective, we provide a wide range of eco-friendly products and services that help our clients live sustainably. After completing my degree in Fine Arts and working at Louis Vuitton as a painter, I knew I had take big steps to actively make a positive impact on the world. That’s when I founded Flightling Collective, with the goal of creating sustainable products that were not only high quality, but also had a modern aesthetic.
I’m most proud of the positive impact we’ve had on the environment and the lives of our customers. By offering practical solutions for everyday living, we’re helping people make sustainable choices that benefit the planet and put power in their purchase by actively making changes.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I’ve spent a long time studying sustainability and I set the bar very high for myself. This in itself was a major block and I realized that making steps toward sustainability and creating things in the best way I can was better than contributing to productions I have no control over. Starting out and taking steps toward perfecting my production is better than never starting because I’m a perfectionist! I had to compromise my dream to ultimately achieve it, and I want to appreciate each step of the journey as I work toward my goals.
How did you build your audience on social media?
So far I’ve build my community by networking in person. I think sharing your authentic life with people and offering your knowledge to help others succeed is very important.
