We were lucky to catch up with Jaddie Jennings recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jaddie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you share a customer success story with us?
Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
Starting this company was a huge risk as this was something I never planned for one day I just decided to do it despite have a full career in retail management. I have received so much support even from colleagues and it has been so worth it. All of the creative spaces I have been invited to have also been a risk especially not knowing what you are walking into. However those times have shown me how driven and resilient I am.

Jaddie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Jaddie, owner of Cookie No Crumble a small business bakery located in Owings mills. It all started with covid and a desire for cookies which sparked me to get creative and bake. I started this company with the Snickerdoodle and now I offer many more. I come from a strong retail background and will hopefully be able to open a cookie truck in the near future.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Social media has helped a-lot and making sure I am visible and participating in local farmers markets has proven to be worthwhile.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
My story is mostly of overcoming uncomfortable situations. I did a farmers market a while back and was not the only bakery there, I was in fact stationed across from another bakery that was not kind to me as we sold the same thing. I wanted to pack up and leave from the dirty looks, I stayed. I sold out all 24 dozen cookies I brought with me and was able to make connections and leave early; while the other bakery was still there with inventory. That almost made me not want to do farmer markets anymore but I still do them to this day. I enjoy the experience and it has turned into a family affair. I often times hire my niece now to attend with me.
