Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jadakiss Rose. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Jadakiss, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?

I never expected to be a rapper. I still have lot more to achieve to feel like I’ve accomplished anything. I grew up playing about 7 sports. I was always busy but still made time to be in trouble and be in beef. I was one of the first to start rapping in my age group, there so influenced younger and older individuals in my city to start creating music. Some would give me my flowers, while others wouldn’t it’s life. Haters everywhere we go. I started rapping going into my freshman year of highschool I’ve been out of highschool for about 5-6 years now. So I’ve been doing it for quite some time now. I’ve put many investments and blood,sweat, & tears into my craft it’ll pay off sooner or later. If I can go back in time & do things different with the knowledge I have today I would but every lesson is to be learned so I don’t regret anything.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I’m independent I’ve been on my own with music since I started. I do have couple people who have faith in me who have been in my corner since I started but now everyone is seeing what im capable of and tryna be around for a come up. I know who’s for me and who isn’t. I’ve came across some celebrities & gotten good feed back, worked with some celebrities, the best has yet to come for me and my loved ones.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My goal is to give my son & my siblings the best life they have ever known to live. I wanna get my family out of the city and I wanna get married on my journey to success.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I had to learn eveyrbody don’t have your best interest. It’s going to be multiple people around to drag you down, stomp on your name, try to ruin your legacy, use you & back stab, Everbody can’t go to the top with you.
