We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jada Samone’. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jada below.
Hi Jada, thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?
If I could turn back the clock, I certainly would have started my career in TV/Film & Modeling when I was a child between the ages of 8 and 10. I began my TV, Movie and Modeling career in January 2022. I was at a place in my life where I decided to just up and go where the opportunities reside. I was in a place where I worked full time and frankly that’s not for me and that’s not who I’m meant to be. Working a job that’s not your passion is more than stressful, so I put what I love first which is acting and modeling. I believe that starting earlier as a child actor I would have been so much further into TV/Movie industry that I would have been a child star. I would have gone through doors and created so many platforms that I am currently building now in my adult years. What would’ve changed? I would’ have fulfilled many dreams and had a solid foundation for myself and family. In hindsight, I know that the inner child in me is filled with joy and bliss. I’m going after everything I said I would and more! So no regrets everything happens at a given moment and now this is my moment!
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Jada Samone’. I am an Actress, Published Model and Influencer. My hometown is North Carolina but I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I started as a model, I walked for “The Model Experience” in Los Angeles for fashion week. I am a member of WIFTA (Women in Film & Television Atlanta). WIFTA is dedicated to improving the status and portrayal of women in film, television, video and other screen-based media by offering opportunities to connect, create, champion and inspire. I also just recently taped in a short film called “Free Me With The Truth” in Atlanta, Georgia streaming on YouTube. As an actor I provide exquisite services portraying various characters in film, television, radio, or theatre productions. I am a storyteller that makes your vision come alive. My job is to fully represent the character I play and to convince the audience that the character is real by engaging them and getting them involved in the story. As a model I either promote, display or advertise commercial products (notably fashion clothing in fashion shows) or serve as a visual aid for people who are creating works of art or to pose for photographs. What makes me stand out? My determination, my willpower, the things I sacrifice and my daring. I’m not letting anyone get in the way. I don’t wait for opportunities to show up, I kick in the door and I build my own open floor plan. I am very proud to be able to take part in the creation of history, to be able to tell stories and bring them to life is incredible. What I want everyone to know about me is that I’m prepared to work, I’m prepared to be booked and busy. I got plenty of talent to give to the world.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Indeed, I want to be the first millionaire in my family. I want to break this curse of generational wealth. I don’t want to settle for the bare minimum, I want it all. I want to leave the biggest impact on the world and to let people know, you can do anything you put your mind to. I want people to witness what it looks like to be a risk-taker and go for what you truly want in life. I want to give my son everything I didn’t have growing up. I want him to understand you can be whoever you want to be all it takes is hard-work and to stay grounded.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Most gratifying aspect of being an artist/creator? It’s the opportunity to embody another person and tell that story from their perspective. To see my dreams fulfilled and watching my hard work come to fruition, also the people you meet, traveling all over the globe and being recognized for thriving at what you do. Once you’re there, it gives you lots of other possibilities.
