Jacynta, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you scale up? What were the strategies, tactics, meaningful moments, twists/turns, obstacles, mistakes along the way? The world needs to hear more realistic, actionable stories about this critical part of the business building journey. Tell us your scaling up story – bring us along so we can understand what it was like making the decisions you had, implementing the strategies/tactics etc.
So how did I scale up my business? I like calling it going to the next level. Hey, so I started my business in 2014 and it started with one client who believed in me to help her make lifelong habits changes to better her health. I’ll never forget that day when we met and she gave me my first check and I was jumping with joy when I get out to the car and immediately called my husband instead, I just started my own business. Today 10 years later, I have over 150 clients. I have 22 leaders, that I call ambassadors to help within my business thrive and enhance the the overall client experience. I have a full-time assistant, she does everything from scheduling to payroll to organizing many extracurricular events, as well as keeping me informed and professional I have a social media consultant monitors and manages the creativity behind my many social media platforms.
We use many strategies at Sparkle Wellness to help our operation to run smoothly. In the beginning, we were all over the place. We started off with a group wellness coaching and then added it in private wellness coaching and then in I March 2020 when the pandemic started, I added in the Sparkle Fitness business.. This was definitely a turning point of my business. I had just received my AC E certification as a personal trainer and six weeks later I started training via zoom my clients strength training so they could continue on their journey when everything was closed. It was quite the learning time for me and for the clients as I was a brand new instructor teaching on a platform that I’ve never used. It was quite challenging however, I am so grateful for the challenge as many many gifts came out of that challenge. I now have added more clients to my business, because I have the fitness component in combination with the wellness component. It was also a business revenue stream that was unexpected, and very appreciated, during a very uncertain. With the help of my entire team, I was able to pivot effortlessly, and become even more successful than I could’ve ever dreamed of.
Every choice as a consequence, and I knew that day, when I decided that I would do my best to be a zoom group exercise instructor, that it would change the trajectory of my life, but more importantly, the lives of my clients. So grateful that I get to train everyone from age 18 to 83 and they are getting stronger both mentally and physically. It truly helped all of us during a very uncertain and unprecedented time to stay focused, positive and sparkly and never give up on our goals no matter what.

What sets me apart from others is my passion and dedication to helping people decide how to take their life to that next level. They understand that mindset will set them apart from anything. They understand that they need community and that sets my company apart from other programs, as we have a thriving, fun, supportive and encouraging community. What also sets us apart is that we do events that bind us together so we become connected and committed to each other success. For example, we do 5K or 10 K or half marathons or marathons as a team. Based on the level of each client, they can come challenge themselves as an every day athlete and all can feel successful. We offer many varieties of other social events to uplift our spirits, and to enhance our lives. We believe that the community is the cure on the journey to optimal health and wellness, and our community is absolutely positively the best aspect of our business, because we believe the more success we all have it will bless other people on their journey!

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Keeping in touch with clients and fostering brand loyalty in the wellness coaching business involves regular communication, personalized engagement, and providing ongoing value. Here are some effective strategies:
1. **Regular Check-Ins:** Schedule periodic check-ins with clients to assess progress, address concerns, and offer support. This can be done through phone calls, emails, text messages
2. **Customized Content:** Provide clients with personalized content such as articles, tips, recipes, or workout plans tailored to their specific needs and interests.
3. **Social Media Engagement:** Utilize social media platforms to share valuable content, interact with clients, and foster a sense of community. Encourage clients to share their progress and experiences on social media as well.
4. **Exclusive Offers:** Offer special discounts, promotions, and an end of the year awards celebration to loyal clients who have remained dedicated and commuted to their health quest.

6. **Wear the Brand**- Each year we offer a new theme of the year to motivate and have fun on the journey and we also offer the ability to purchase custom Spirit Wear as a team so we can be united as one. Our 2024 theme is get after it!

How did you build your audience on social media?
My best advice to help build your audience on social media would be to hire someone who is a professional at it. I spent several years on my business, trying to do it myself, it was exhausting. It wasn’t as creative and I was not able to grow my audience due to my limited time and content. It was frustrating but I had to decide to let go of the control of it and hire someone who is so much better equipped at it. Also, I had to put myself on camera and change my social media by doing reels. Believe me it was an uncomfortable in the beginning, and every time I knew I was shooting them. I had a little bit of anxiety. But with much practice and excitement from my audience it sure has made all the difference in my business.
