We were lucky to catch up with Jacqueline Duncan recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jacqueline, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
The risk that I took was when I left my 9 to 5 in March 2020 right at the beginning of COVID. I stepped out on faith to do what I felt was my purpose to do here on earth. This was to become a Board Certified Counselor. My passion has always been to help, encourage, and educate people worldwide in areas of mental health challenges and to discover their purpose. I love the quote from Miles Monroe, “The greatest tragedy in life is not death but life without a purpose.” This risk turned into a business where I am CEO and a Life Coach. Purpose Pusher Inspire Coaching, LLC was established during this time of uncertainty into a whole new arena COVID.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Earlier, I told the story about me leaving my job right before COVID-19 happened. This was not the plan. I planned to have an office building to conduct my sessions and program offerings. I had to pivot and go from in-person meetings to virtual meetings. The change with COVID happened overnight at an accelerated pace. I had to shift. All In-person events that were planned to be pivoted. This meant thinking outside of the box. I had to figure out how I was going to provide my clients with the resources that they needed to heal and be successful virtually. During this time, I started The Jacqueline Renee Show. This was a platform for others to share their experiences with my audience and to encourage women by providing support to my guest speakers as well. It provided a platform for them to showcase either their business, a new book, or advice on healthy living. I had to pivot my workshops to a virtual platform required being innovative and creative with my delivery and approach to ensure that I captured my audience’s attention and could provide them with a resolution after my session.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The strategy that I have used and that has provided me and my business with the most reward has been through word of mouth. It has been through others telling other men and women about my expertise in stress, PTSD, grief and loss, menopause, anxiety, burn-out, and self-care after experiencing a session with me. Burn-out is my favorite area to help others solely because I experienced this issue and walked through it in my own life. This has allowed me to be better able to help people with burn-out specifically, adrenal fatigue. My clients are walking around with symptoms and they don’t even know it. Often, they are going off of fumes and my life experience helps to explain and give examples of how to identify the symptoms, be aware of the triggers, and how to apply solutions to their life. Overall, my life experience and my sharing these experiences has helped me grow my clientele,
