We were lucky to catch up with Jacqueline Amira recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jacqueline, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
I’m actually still learning my craft today. I got started on the modeling side of things when I decided to lose weight and take better care of myself. Back in 2020 I was severely overweight and I didn’t really do much or leave my home except when it was necessary. I learned about certain fitness federations like the GBO and the WBFF that have transformation divisions. I got connected with a coach and everything basically took off from there. For cosplay, I’m still relatively new at it. My boyfriend has been teaching me a lot as he has been a professional cosplayer for the last 20 years. The acting and MC those opportunities presented themselves at random and I jumped right into the deep end without looking back. Word of mouth advertising started to spread regarding my talent and professionalism which ended up opening more doors for me.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Jacqueline Amira and hopefully I will be your new favorite on screen villain. I haven’t actually been in the business for that long… but here I am. I first started out doing fitness pay per view shows in Las Vegas and Orlando. I had lost over 100 lbs in a little over a year. Not long after my last WBFF show, I was offered an opportunity to host a pin-up pageant in Tampa, Florida. I actually ended up hosting the entire three day event! That lead to more opportunities through out the state as a host & MC. I’ve also been published as a pin-up model in multiple publications, including seven magazine covers. Most recently I have been cast to play Quinn The Wicked on Arcadia Origins of Arkosios (also known as Arcadia the Series) ….if all goes well Quinn the Wicked will leave a sinfully splendiferous impression on our audience.

How did you build your audience on social media?
As far as social media goes I honestly don’t have all of the answers lol but I will say I do put a lot of thought and research into the content I create. I try to make sure anything I release has the ability to connect with people. There are times where I’ll do stuff just for funsies to show that I’m not all serious all the time. but for the most part I try to make sure my content has an entertainment value. I do a lot of research before hand and I will ask for additional perspectives also.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Let’s see… one of the most difficult decisions that I’ve ever had to make in my life was to cut off my biological family members permanently. Growing up I was picked on a lot and what made it worse was 90% of the bullying happened at home. I don’t really look like the rest of my family (thank the man upstairs for that one) so I got picked on for something that was completely out of my control and for just being myself. I knew that my family would immediately try to verbally attack me if I tried to sit them down and have a grown up conversation…. so I did it in a way that would eliminate that scenario entirely. I did it by letter – I must have written it at least 50 times before sending it. I even cried for a few days, wondering whether or not I made the right decision…. 2025 will make it 5 years since it did it and you know what? After the amazing adventures I’ve had and milestones that I’ve accomplished I know I made the right decision.
