Jacki, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

As a young adult, I thought all I needed to become successful was a fancy degree and a desire to work hard. I had gone to a good college, earned a law degree, passed two bar exams, made great connections in the corporate world, and landed a job at a very successful (and well respected) law firm. But it wasn’t translating to meeting my personal standard of success. And I hated the work I was doing.

I would soon realize that success (for me) would come when I found work that was aligned with my natural gifts, talents, and desires. From there, I cleared a lot of my old programming and energies around money, I worked through my fears of being visible, and I pushed through a lot of my edges around selling. In addition to all of the work I did to get my energy aligned with the level of success I wanted to experience, I also continue to always learn more information and constantly practice my skills so I can get better and better at what I am doing.

I believe that to be successful, a person has to live in the energy of already being successful. I embodied that energy long before I ever made a single dollar in my business. And as my business grew, I continued to try on the energy of someone who was living at the next level. And then the next level. What does it feel like to be serving more clients? What thoughts am I thinking when I make this next level of income? What kind of support will I need when I’m serving humanity in a bigger way? I have spent hundreds (maybe thousands) of hours in meditation sampling the energy of new (and better) realities, and because of this, it’s not surprising when I reach those new levels in real life, because I’ve been in the energy of them the whole time.

And of course, I still work pretty hard and take a lot of action.

Jacki, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

After spending 3 years in law school (and then a few years as a practicing attorney), I had felt the luck that usually followed me in my life starting to fade. I didn’t feel like I could match my life to what I wanted. It was almost as if my intentions no longer had any pull. I had done everything I thought I was supposed to do in order to be successful in all areas of my life, but nothing was working (despite all of my hard work and effort). So, I started seeking out personal growth and inspiration books and webinars, which eventually led me to learning how energy works and how we (as humans) become energetically blocked to having the life we want because of our programming, stored emotions, beliefs, and patterns. As I started clearing my own energy, doors started opening, and I was able to create more opportunities for myself. Then in 2012, I had an opportunity to train as an Intuitive Coach, which I only took advantage of because I wanted to learn how to clear myself even more. While I was in my training course, I started doing practice sessions with my friends on the weekends, and they all told me (very enthusiastically) that I needed to be doing this professionally. Every single one of them referred their friends and colleagues to me, so clients were coming in before I even started a business. This whole career happened unintentionally.

And since then, my business (Hi-Watt Living) has grown into my dream business. I personally work 1-on-1 with very high performing individuals to clear their energy blocks and help them to align their energy with the next level of success, or in creating the life they want to have. I also train new Intuitive Coaches, and teach them how to read peoples’ energy and clear blocks the way I do (the next training course will take place in 2025). I have two amazing Intuitive Coaches who work with clients from all over the world (via single sessions or packages).

What sets our work apart from other Intuitive Coaches is that we are focused almost entirely on reality creation instead of healing. I think many people become energy healers to help people move out of pain, depression, and anxiety (which is much needed in this world), but for me, the motivation has always been to help people match their energy to where they want to go in their life. Yes, healing is the means to doing that, and we have many clients who find us for the purpose of releasing pain (and we have an Anxiety & Depression clearing bundle available for self-paced clearing). But the end game for us is moving you into the life that is fully aligned with your soul’s true desires.

What makes me proud of our brand is the high quality of our courses and content. The information we teach is unique and powerful. We break things down in a way that is highly potent yet easy to understand (without any fluff). I have personally conducted thousands upon thousands of private sessions (and I have seen it all), so in our group clearings and audio bundles, I know exactly where to look (and what questions to prompt a listener with) to pull up the right blocks and help you to release them.

The main thing we want our clients to come away with is an understanding of how to operate in harmony with the way the Universe is naturally operating. Life gets so much easier when you align your energy with Universal Laws, and this is why we have our Universal Law School curriculum. I am excited to teach three more live Universal Law School courses in 2024, and to share a complimentary 4-part video series on Universal Laws (which will become available January 1st).

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.

Hi-Watt Living was a secret side business for about a year when I was working as an attorney. My family and colleagues knew nothing about it, and I only shared its existence with a few close friends (who were my guinea pig clients).

At one point during this first year, I decided to go to A-fest (which is a large event hosted by Mindvalley, where business and spirituality come together at a gorgeous tropical resort). At the event, I allowed myself to fully be in the identity of an Intuitive Coach when I would meet people and introduce myself. I would also do free sessions for people by the pool so they could see and experience what I could do, and how powerful this work is. From those interactions, people had me in mind when they needed help, or knew someone who needed to clear energy. I had business owners purchasing private sessions for every member of their team back home. I had people sharing about their experience on social media. And more importantly, I was planting seeds. So many of the people I met would reach out or refer someone years later.

So I continued to go to personal growth conferences playing this role, embodying this identity of an energy healer, handing out business cards, and focusing only on this aspect of myself. And eventually, the role of attorney started to feel like the identity that I was faking. Any resonance I had with doing that job had eventually dissolved, and I just couldn’t do it anymore.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

As someone who had no desire to be publicly visible on the internet for the first 10 years of business, I initially grew my clientele by hosting live events. This was a great way to let people sample the work I was doing, learn more about how to upgrade their energy, and get a feel for whether I would be able to help them if they decided to commit to working with me personally (or through one of my online courses). All of my private clients at the time were able to comp tickets to these live events for their friends. Since those referred friends already knew how impactful the work was (by looking at the difference that energy healing made in the life of their friend who had been working with me), I didn’t need to “sell” anyone on the results. The people in attendance already knew my healing methods worked (and they got to spend 2 full days experiencing it themselves) which made them feel comfortable and confident in making an investment to work with me.
