Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to J R Langwell. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

J R , appreciate you joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I first realized I wanted to be a DJ , when I was a young kid!! My Dad was in the sound recording business. I would always hang out at his studio!
He would let me get my feet wet with the control mixer!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

At the airport when I push folks in a wheelchair from concourse to concourse, the passengers make me smile! I love providing great Customer Service!! Same with my D J company called Cruisin DJ’s! At the airport 2 people are my idols, Shannon Terry also Clyde Hammond. My idol in my DJ company is my wife !! We work and feed well off of each other’s energy!

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

If something is hard for someone they can do anything they put their mind too ! Especially those in schools today!! If kids want to do something they love, they can be doctors, scientists, teachers etc. Try and try again if you don’t succeeding you need to persevere!!

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My goal is to be the best I can be. Yes you will make mistakes, but don’t let that stop you. Keep on fulfilling your dream!! Never give up. Keep on striving and thriving!
