We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Izabela Bos. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Izabela below.
Izabela, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
All decisions that fulfill your happiness come with risks in life! I always wanted to own a business but never was too sure where to start or what industry to enter. During my journey in school and professional career, I developed a passion for digital media and empowering individuals/brands to grow their image and reputation on channels like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
I thought to myself, why not just go for it if this was already my daily role?! With over six years of experience, I was able to grow and learn in all areas to prepare for launching That Digital Belle. This lightbulb started with developing the strategy and branding for That Digital Belle.
Starting a business is never easy, but I did not know how hard it truly would be. At first, being a one-woman band, I thought I could complete everything from branding to development in under a month. However, it took around double the time with many obstacles to launch That Digital Belle’s online site and services. With patience and consistency, I was able to overcome obstacles and focus on the goals set.
Lessons learned throughout the process were to be patient and not so harsh on yourself! I would push myself to my limits and at times be discouraged but never give up! There will always be bad and good days in anything you do. As I continue this journey and growth I have set to accomplish, I will continue to follow my mission to consistently follow my values in every client plan to accomplish successful results.
Izabela, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well to start – my name is Izabela Bos, Southern Belle at heart & Digital Media Enthusiast. I studied a Bachelor of International Marketing and later my Master of Applied Business Analytics. My mission is to consistently follow my values in every client plan to accomplish successful results. Regardless of what service or custom plan a client will choose, they will receive a personalized approach, more time to manage their daily business operations, and the ability to grow their brand’s image digitally with my help.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing your clientele in any business or brand is SOCIAL MEDIA! Many business owners are scared of this digital and organic concept or feel like they are not tech savvy enough to create strategies for a bigger target audience. This is where I come in!
In the last year, social media has grown to an additional 500 million consumers and it continues to grow. As growth continues, consumer attention spans have decreased to an average of 10-30 seconds per post. On average, consumers spend one to three hours per day on their social media platforms. The top platforms, ranking between one to three billion consumers include: Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Although I have not been able to give my business channel much love, I have been able to work with many clients who have seen results in clientele growth. In four months, I was able to increase a clients following organically by 30% and consumer engagement by 107%.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
The best advice I can give on managing a team and maintaining high morale is to have a dynamic relationship established. People ask me – “But Bela, what does that even mean?” Treat others the way you would like to be treated regardless of your position, experience, and pay. We are all here to help one another grow as a team, whether it’s through mentorship and feedback or even checking in on one another when they may have a little one sick at home. We are all HUMAN and make MISTAKES! It’s learning together, collaborating with each other to create a better strategy or creative plan, and having genuine relationships, where you actually care for each other. I think of it as small town small!
