Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ivana Tattoo Art. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Ivana Tattoo Art, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I grew up in a small village in Slovakia during communism. We did not have the ability to express ourselves like the rest of the world, but I always did through art. One day, a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to try to tattoo, and I jumped on the opportunity. As soon as I touched the machine to her skin, I was hooked and fell in love with the form of self-expression. I have never worked another job since then. I was 18 years old.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am from a little village called Kostolne, in Slovakia. I grew up in communism. In this little town, I began to draw as a young kid and as I got older, I began to graffiti art all over town. After graduating
high school, I moved to a town called Trencin where I started to tattoo. I fell in
love with tattooing.
I always had big dreams of becoming a world-renowned celebrity that’s why as
soon as I could I moved to Australia/ Sydney where I lived for few years.
From there I started to travel all around the world- I lived in many countries like
New Zealand 2007-2008; Cayman Islands 2008-2010, UK, France, USA- where I
decided to move. In 2011, I moved to Long Beach, California where I established
my own studio IVANA TATTOO ART.
Right now I have moved to West Hollywood where I tattoo.
Besides tattooing own my LUXURY TATTOO BRAND called ITA LOS ANGELES.
In my travels, I won 1st place with my work all over the world in many different
styles! (Prague, Sydney, New Zealand, Taiwan, Shanghai, New York, Canada, USA,
France.) etc. I even had my exhibition of ITA limited edition prints in Shanghai
and California.
In 2018, I became the First and only woman in the world who's tattoo art is
certified as contemporary fine art in Macro Museo in Rome. This recognition
catapulted me to a new category which allowed me to tattoo many celebrities,
like my friend, Little Wayne, Chris Brown, Quavo, etc.
I have been published countless times in different magazines (tattoo magazines, business, lifestyle, art..) throughout the years. With my MACRO accomplishment, came a different classification for my art. My tattoos are not just tattoos any more they are collectible one-of-a-kind pieces of
contemporary fine art, and that will cost you a pretty penny.
My art is highly sought after and has been turned into collectible NFTs.
I am also a motivational speaker, spreading my Law of attraction message all over the world and on YouTube.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My mission is to leave a legacy behind with my overall lifestyle: to inspire the younger generation. With my art, I wish to inspire love and beauty. With my words I wish to inspire love for one another, our animals, and our planet. My mission is to erase boundaries, remove barriers and ignite conversations to eradicate stigmas of all kinds.
The last 3 years, I have dedicated myself to producing YouTube videos for my country of Slovakia, who is still under a very antiquated and communist system, to accept one another with all of our differences and ways of life.
My goal is to continue to bring these messages to my English-speaking audience and clients.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
Being the first woman tattoo artist to launch my NFTs in the Metaverse comes with great responsibility to educate and provide constant information to my loyal fans in my community and in the general public. I am proud to be part of Mavie, a grand community that is the fastest growing community in the world.
I like to remind others of the fact that the NFT business is new. It is arguably no more than four years old in investors’ eyes, though developers have been at it for around eight years. My collaboration with Ultron on this project is over 2 years old and is under constant development.
My NFTS are part of my global brand, and just like the market they will be tried and tested but will always be revitalized in different ways.
I feel that because of my unique art and very strong community my NFT designs will be very successful and in front of an international audience.
Keep watch! We will witness a new era of NFTs that extends beyond their current boundaries and unlocks new possibilities.
As for investors, my advice is that they must think a good five to ten years out for NFT growth.
