Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ituaje Okojie. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Ituaje thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
I’m definitely happiest as a creative. Balancing Letters To You Blog with a full-time job isn’t easy—some nights I’m editing into the early morning, knowing I have work in a few hours. But honestly, It’s worth it.
There are moments when I wonder what it’d be like to just focus on a 9–5, come home, and chill. But even in the chaos, creating still feels right. It brings together everything I love—food, travel, business, and editing. And every time I post a new video or connect with someone through my content, I remember why I started!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Itua (E-chwa), and I’m the creator behind *Letters To You Blog*—a food and travel platform where I share meaningful experiences and hidden gems from Atlanta and beyond.
*Letters To You* was inspired by my late mother, who passed down her love of travel and good food to me and my sisters. After she passed, cooking, eating, and exploring new places became a way for us to heal and stay connected to her spirit. The blog began as a space to document those moments—like letters to her—and quickly turned into something bigger: a platform that encourages others to find joy in life’s simple pleasures.
Through my content, I highlight local and international destinations, restaurant experiences, cultural events, and sometimes just those quiet in-between moments that make a trip special.
What sets me apart is the *why* behind my work. It’s not just about pretty food or cool travel spots—it’s rooted in something deeply personal. I don’t take it for granted that I get to merge all my passions—food, travel, videography, editing, and storytelling—into one creative lane. And since I also work full-time, I know what it’s like to be part of the audience I create for: people who want to explore, eat well, and feel something real without always having unlimited time or budget.
I’m most proud of the community I’ve built and the way my content resonates with people—especially those who’ve experienced loss or are navigating life transitions. I want potential clients and followers to know that everything I post is rooted in love, intention, and a desire to celebrate the beauty around us. Whether I’m highlighting a local taco shop or filming a solo adventure in another country, it all comes from a place of purpose.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
As a content creator and influencer on social media, it’s definitely the opportunities. From collaborating with your local restaurants and big-name businesses to connecting with CEOs, there is so much opportunity on top of financial gain as well.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Literally just show support by reposting, sharing feedback, and showing genuine love to creatives.
