We were lucky to catch up with Isomania recently and have shared our conversation below.

Isomania, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

As a band, we are currently working on our most meaningful project to date. Our debut album and film, titled “DAWN”.

DAWN is a layered underdog story with equal parts relatable and dreamlike plot lines.
The accompanying film is action packed and very visually striking.

Our music can most simply be defined as grunge. Introspective, often melancholy vocals, heavy guitar, powerful drums, and big groovy bass lines. The range of soft and heavy sounds that we have in our arsenal gives us a wide pallete to tell a story.

On an individual level, the contribution that each member of isomania has on the creative process of this album is undeniable. The balanced equation of our various inspiration has created something unique to us, that we really like.

Creatively, we all see eye to eye, and because of that, working together as a band is like being a kid at recess.

The fun that we have as a band is the fuel that makes it all happen.
Being an artist in any age can come with challenges as well as opportunities. Technology has made access to high quality sound and video creation way more affordable. We are beyond fortunate to be able to do everything ourselves.

We are honoring our access to resources by creating the best possible album and film that we can. It means so much to us to make it as good as possible, so that DAWN can be meaningful to more than just us and our friends.

Isomania, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

We are isomania.
We’re a rock band that started in 2024, as a few co-workers who wanted to jam. Very soon after we started playing together, we realized that it was just as easy for us to write new music as it was to learn covers. From there, we built a set list and started playing out.
The feedback and support that we received from playing our originals has really excited us to keep going.
The isomania family is something that we are all so proud to be a part of.
As our fan base continues to grow, we can guarantee that the same feeling of love, support, and letting loose is going to be present at every single one of our shows.
To share our art, and most importantly to share that love with as many people as possible is our mission.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

Being able to express an emotion or a perspective through creating art always feels like magic. The process itself is totally self fulfilling.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

On an individual level, we can do our best to not discourage the dreams of our peers and loved ones. On a societal level, there should always be a push to offer more free events and resources to support all creative avenues. Putting a heavy emphasis on giving underprivileged communities the opportunity to express themselves is paramount to culture and change.
