We recently connected with Isiah Butler and have shared our conversation below.
Isiah, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
The story behind my mission is simple but deeper than the surface. I come from a small inter city located in Lorain, Ohio. I have always been a well put together person with big dreams and as a kid up until I was a teenager playing basketball was my dream. Fast forward to my early 20s a very interesting time in my life but great self development years for me, I got into fitness as an adult from noticing myself not looking that good and by that I mean slim and out of shape. I knew that wasn’t how I should be carrying myself so I took action as I continued to workout I decided to share my journey with the world off pure intentions and then I realized I had something special going on and something I’m good at that comes just as natural as basketball. Clients began to reach out and seeing my dedication told them everything they needed to know which essentially got me started personal and online training.
Life Insurance was me standing on entrepreneurship, putting myself in a position to take care of my family and myself and helping anyone lacking insurance or the knowledge. I know it will be a process just like everything else in life but we all have to start somewhere.
Isiah, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Life Insurance Agent. I offer many services for my in person and online training clients such as a mobile app called Humble Fitness App and E-Books for those who prefer virtual. Flexible scheduling and great rates for in person clients. The problems I help my clients solve are the lack of motivation and willingness to exercise and stay consistent. In order to get results in anything you do you have to be held accountable and work hard and that’s something I’m adamant about when it comes to working with people. I got into fitness being inspired originally from my father as a kid and it grew into a passion that was always in me. As a Personal Trainer I would say my will and love for helping people sets me apart as well as my mindset. I’m most proud of the people I’ve met through training and the relationships I’ve built with great people and how many people I’ve impacted. I want potential clients/followers/fans to know that FitZay365, HumbleFitnessLLC is who I am and my brand and here to stay in the fitness space and available to anyone in need!
Life Insurance is a different world from fitness but goes hand and hand with each other. In this field my goals are to genuinely educate people on different policies and benefits and help get them the best rates to insure they’re good with all their proceeds. I got into Life Insurance from being courageous and not being afraid to take risk and try something new. As a new agent my drive and determination will set me apart. I came too far to fail or look back and there’s a lot more I’m fighting for in life that keeps me going. I want potential clients/followers/fans to know that I’m not a too good to be true salesman or someone just trying to get them locked into a high paying bill but a genuine person that wants to help people understand the important of life insurance and it’s great benefits it has to offer.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Pushing through adversity in everyday life and following my heart becoming an entrepreneur has been tough but rewarding in many ways. I’ve always had a good understanding that nothing in life comes easy; and some people may have to work harder than others but at the end of the day we’re all capable of obtaining whatever it is we put our minds too. My resilience comes natural and is illustrated daily by facing my real life problems and situations like everyone else but standing on my business to another level pushing everyday knowing that’s what it takes to be great at what I do and get where I’m headed in my life.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my audience on social media by being myself, I didn’t ride any waves to trying to mimic anyone else I saw but I was inspired by many creators in my space which lead to where I am today. I stayed consistent even when I didn’t feel like posting because I know there’s a higher purpose to what I’m doing and the message I want to get out. Last but not least I invested in myself to get my content seen and in front of more people so that I could potentially help or simply just inspire people from all over the world. Advice for those just starting to build a social media presence would be to stick too what you’re good at or know and thrive off of that and push it no matter what. Long as you’re happy and feel confident putting out your content you just let the algorithm do its thing, interactive with your audience and keep growing from there.
