We recently connected with Isiah Adamson and have shared our conversation below.
Isiah, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
My journey toward pursuing my passion began during the summers when the street around the corner hosted block parties. I eagerly signed up to perform, which ignited my love for the stage. Additionally, watching dance movies and television shows inspired me deeply, and I often envisioned myself in those roles. I dedicated countless hours to rehearsing my moves in my room, regardless of the time, because I truly fell in love with my craft.”

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I feel like that’s a big accomplishment! I want people to know me as a content creator who loves to dance and act. My journey really took off in 2016 and 2017 when I decided to take acting classes for about a year. That experience opened my eyes to the world of performance and helped me build my confidence. Even though I’ve always wanted to get into acting, I often felt nervous about stepping into that spotlight.
A major highlight for me was being involved in theater, where I not only honed my skills but also learned a lot about collaboration and creativity. It was an amazing experience that fueled my passion even more. On top of that, I’m thrilled to say I’ve been featured in four movies on Tubi and Prime Video. Being part of those projects has been incredibly rewarding and has allowed me to reach a wider audience.
I just want to encourage others to chase their dreams, no matter how tough it gets out here with all the competition. It’s important to focus on your own path, keep learning, and never give up on what you love.”

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I have specific goals for my journey. I honestly want to see my achievements rise and get noticed for my work. My mission is to inspire others to chase their dreams and let them know that it’s okay to restart as long as you don’t quit. Just because you hear “YOU DIDN’T FIT THE PART” in the industry doesn’t mean you should stop working on your craft. Trust me, there’s something out there for everybody! I just want to encourage others to keep pushing forward and believe in themselves.”

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the opportunity to secure partnerships and deals, which are always beneficial to engage in. Additionally, I find great fulfillment in helping others enter their respective fields, as many individuals often feel uncertain about where to begin and may require some guidance. Lastly, receiving recognition from unexpected sources is also incredibly gratifying.”
