Isabella, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today. Being a business owner can be really hard sometimes. It’s rewarding, but most business owners we’ve spoken sometimes think about what it would have been like to have had a regular job instead. Have you ever wondered that yourself? Maybe you can talk to us about a time when you felt this way?

Being a business owner is one of the most rewarding yet rigorous paths and I would not change it for the world. It without a doubt has it’s ups and downs but it pushes you to be the best version of yourself. You are responsible for everything created. You are responsible for the outcome of not just your business but what you create for your life.

I have absolutely thought what my life would be like if I had a “regular” job and I truly could not ever go back to that. There is nothing more empowering than being your own boss and taking control of your own narrative. One of the most rewarding points, though, is not only just changing your own life but being able to change the lives of others. You have to be invested and ready for anything to come your way. I am very happy and grateful as a business owner.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Like a lot of people, I discovered my love for influencer marketing throughout the pandemic. That is when I also became close with my now business partner, Jennifer Brooks. We created a dream and continue to manifest it everyday.

Jexy, LLC is an all inclusive influencer marketing talent agency. We house elite exclusive talent that represent amazing products and brands everyday. Our goal is to partner our talent with brands they love so that both the influencer and company are benefiting to their fullest extent. We strive to provide our talent with valuable information and help them grow into the influencer they wish to be.

We truly could not do it all without the amazing tribe we have. Our talent directors and brand managers are the most invested and motivated individuals you will meet. They truly have the best interest of our talent and agency in their hearts.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Loyalty and word of mouth. You have to stay loyal to your clients and those who have been with you from the start. Treating them with the utmost respect and priority is extremely important; it builds trust and an everlasting relationship. If you do right by others, word of mouth will naturally spread which is one of the most important forms of marketing.

As a business, creating long lasting relationships is extremely important. Those people will help you grow and vise versa. Building trust and loyalty amongst others will only help open more doors and opportunities for your business and relationships.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

Celebrate your team’s wins; when they win, you win! It truly takes a village to bring a dream to life and surrounding yourself with a team that sees that vision will only transport your success further. Creating fun and friendly competitions by having your team motivate each other is huge. You want your team to trust you and come to you with training questions and feel safe to express new ideas.

Take advantage of the different creative brains and minds you have amongst you as well. Everyone sees things from a different perspective and mindset. A team member may bring a new idea or strategy to go about something that you may have never thought of, embrace that and encourage it.
