Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Isabela Castro. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Isabela, appreciate you joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I can talk about the importance of healthy habits (mentally, physically, and spiritually) to achieve sustainable success.
Mentally – managing emotions, creating self awareness, healing the mind, build resilience, and learning to make conscious choices to create the identity you aim for.
Physically – developing better eating habits, exercising regularly, sleeping, and recharging the body
Spirituality – understanding your existing patterns, developing self-love, and connecting with your higher self to manifest the life you want
Isabela, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I was born and raised in Brazil, had the opportunity to come play tennis at a division 1 University in GA, graduated from business management, got a career opportunity at a 500 Fortune company, got married to my boyfriend from college, and everything was going normal. Until the global pandemic hit, I got divorced, moved out from my home, and decided to live my job. After I went through this massive transformation in my life, I realized that I wasn’t living the life that I wanted or wish I could have.
I have always been passionate about health and I decided to study topics that were interesting to me. So I got certified in personal training, nutrition, psychology, neuroscience, and metaphysics to get more in touch with the source of who we are as humans. As I was studying, I would also apply the knowledge in my life and I could quickly see the inner transformation I was making from having panic and anxiety attacks to feeling the best I ever felt. I also enrolled in multiple mindset coaching programs with leaders such as Tony Robbins and Rob Dial to support my path of growth.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I had to unlearn that our life is not anyone’s responsibility but our own. If we are able to understand that every human have their way of thinking, perspectives, beliefs, and essence – we can free ourselves of the illusion that we can control other people’s actions and reactions. What we can do is work on our time and energy and how we spend it day in and day out. If we have the courage to stand up for what we truly want, stop taking things personal, and become the most authentic version of ourselves – we will attract people who can relate to us in a deeper level, we will attract opportunities that serves us, and we will find true happiness. If you live for others, you will end up holding resentment towards yourself and that is where lack of confidence comes in. Keep your own promises and live for you, the rest will adjust to what is meant for you.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
My divorce was probably the biggest pivot moment of my life. Not only because it opened my eyes to how codependent I was of my partner, but also how I was not living to my full potential. I was allowing people decide my life for me instead of making my own decisions. It was such a painful experience but I transformed that pain in to purpose. Purpose to find myself, develop self love, understand what I truly wanted, and be the version of me I will be 100% proud of. It was a moment of self realization where the shock of reality was so strong and deep that forced me to wake up and start living a path of consciousness and continuous growth. Today, I thank my ex-husband for opening the doors to this new and higher version of me.
