Isaac, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Getting that first client is always an exciting milestone. Can you talk to us about how you got your first customer who wasn’t a friend, family, or acquaintance?
I had always been skeptical about sending out flyers in the mail. But this is how I received my first recurring pest control client. Turns out that this particular customer owns a lot of multi-family rental properties. I have inspected and treated the units for everything from roaches to bed bugs for this client. I am grateful for all of the work.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I got into the extermination industry after running a landscape business for 20 years. I currently offer full service pest control and exterminator services. We help our customers solve pest issues through integrated pest management. We offer a quarterly pest prevention plan that our customers really love. It provides year round protection for their property. I am proud of starting my own pest control business here in Cincinnati, Ohio. I will continue to provide current and new customers with the best service possible.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Offering a worthwhile referral program.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I post a mixture of business and personal/humor stuff on my social media pages.
