We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Isaac Ameyaw. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Isaac below.
Alright, Isaac thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
Life memories, accomplishments, and career successes are what I want my legacy to consist of.
People will speak highly of me and my creative contribution to the world.
I want to be remembered as the individual who inspired a generation to follow in my footsteps by using their own talents.

Isaac, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Isaac Ameyaw. I was born in Ghana, West Africa and grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland and Washington DC. I am a self-taught editorial photographer. who also enjoys working behind the scenes with videography and is currently immersed in his love of environmental portraiture. Since I was an adolescent, I have always been a creative person immersed in various artistic avenues. Which made getting into the scene easier than it seemed and came naturally. As a photographer, my work is very much about bringing visions to life. I offer editorial concept services, branding work, quality lifestyle (eg birthdays and graduations) and more. I believe that my pure intent to consistently deliver great work to my clients sets me apart because it helps me work harder to improve the quality of my photos.
I am very proud of my achievements and being able to share my story on different platforms. I love the never-ending evolution of my work, which creates lifelong relationships with clients.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
A big turning point for me would be a recent car accident that happened 8 months ago.
A photographer knows how resourceful a vehicle can be to commute and stay on schedule for bookings.
Having to find different ways to stay in routine and creatively pursue my dreams was a challenge and a valuable experience.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Lately I’ve been treating myself to Rich Dad Poor Dad. A financial literacy book by Robert T. Kiyosaki. The key element that I appreciate is that he not only teaches you how to make money for yourself, but also the mentality of keeping it.
