Iran, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

At Iranica, my mission is rooted in empowering creativity and authenticity. Growing up in Chihuahua, Mexico, I was surrounded by art, cultural diversity, and stories waiting to be told. I started my journey as a photographer at 14, capturing moments that felt genuine and deeply human. Over time, I realized that beyond images, what truly inspired me was helping people and businesses craft visual identities that reflect who they really are.

This mission is: everyone deserves to be seen for their authenticity. Whether it’s designing a brand, telling a story through photography, or creating meaningful content, I want to inspire others to embrace what makes them authentic.

For me, design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about connection. It’s about helping brands and individuals share their passions, values, and dreams with the world. Iranica exists to motivate others to create boldly, live authentically, and show the world who they truly are.

I’m Iran Rodríguez, a multidisciplinary designer from Chihuahua, Mexico. My passion for creativity started early—at just 14, I was already exploring the world of photography. Over time, this love for visual storytelling grew into a deeper appreciation for creative fields, first for film and cinema, then design, leading me to pursue a degree in Graphic Design and broaden my horizons to include branding, video production, and social media content creation.

At Iranica, I focus on helping brands bring their vision to life. Whether it’s crafting a compelling brand identity, producing lifestyle photography, or creating engaging video content for social media, my goal is to deliver work that feels authentic and resonates with my clients’ audiences. I specialize in blending creativity with strategy, ensuring every project not only looks beautiful but also solves real business problems.

I help brands to:
Create and define their identity through branding
Connecting audiences with the brand through storytelling.
Create content to strengthen their presence online

I believe that great design is not just about aesthetics; it’s about authenticity and purpose. My approach is in collaboration and understanding my clients and their goals. I’m also not afraid to break conventions, offering bold, fresh ideas that align with each brand’s core values.

Some of my proudest moments include designing furniture that was showcased at Design Week Mexico’s “Inédito” exhibition and winning first place in competitions like Comex Trends 2022 for furniture design. These achievements remind me of the impact design can have, whether it’s shaping a physical space or building a digital presence.

Iranica is more than just a design studio—it’s a space where creativity meets purpose. I aim to inspire others to embrace their authenticity and create work that tells their story. Whether you’re an emerging entrepreneur or an established brand, my goal is to help you connect with your audience and leave a lasting impression

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The opportunity to bring intangible ideas to life and see how they resonate with others. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness how a design, a photograph, or a piece of branding can evoke emotions, solve problems, and connect people.

I love the process of collaboration, understanding someones elses vision to help them tell their story.

Seeing a client gain confidence in their brand or watching how an audience engages with something I’ve created reminds me of the power of creativity to inspire and make a difference. Being a creative is about connection, and that’s what I find most rewarding.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My goal is to make an impact while staying true to myself and my passions. I want my work to inspire others, and empower them to pursue their dreams.

Another part of my mission is to experience the world, both physically and through the diverse perspectives of the people I work with. Traveling opens up endless sources of inspiration and allows me to grow not just as a designer but as a person. Ultimately, my goal is to create a life and career that align with who I am—one where I can be proud of the impact I make, while also finding joy and fulfillment in every step of the journey.
