Inti , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
Migrantes is the last musical album that I have finished which has been one of my most exciting projects. It has taken me to travel, let go, love and meet different types of cultures, arts and people who have motivated and participated in this project, which gathers Latin American rhythms fused with electronic beats. This album has the participation of musicians from North and South America. It has the record of 21 interviews with different migrants from Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East.
This project began in July 2020 post Covid in Tranquilandia, San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico. It is about to be released in March.
Inti , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started developing Rap music in 1997 in Satelite City, Santiago de Chile. Years later I studied Sound Engineering, Music Therapy and Theatrical Improvisation.
I develop musical productions for theater, circus and various dance shows.
Since 2011 I started to produce as an engineer, composer and management for the label MDEMUSICA (Urban music).
In the year 2017 I founded my own record label Wipala Unit with which we develop workshops, productions, consulting for artists in Latin America.
Today I am developing my project as Solita “EL INTI” which began in 2019, with which I seek to merge music to dance and poetry which I call DRAP (DANCE, RHYTHM AND POETRY).
How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
I believe that the unification of cultures and societies at the micro to the macro level could generate or regenerate that network of connection that we have as a vibratory humanity
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The mystery and travel on planet earth for me has been one of my greatest motivations to continue my path and passage through this land.
